Reliability and Dependability require practice.
Parents
Are team practice and game schedules only a recommendation to you?
Have you taught your son that he is entitled to pick and choose what he attends and what he does not?
Players
Finish what you start (the quit gene is real).
Be the best teammate on every team you're a part of.
Be reliable and dependable (be the player on the team that attends 100% of everything).
Be the player that is wanted because your coaches trust you.

Being undersized in terms of weight and strength is a choice for the lazy and unmotivated.
You are underweight because you refuse to eat enough calories.
You are weak because you are allergic to the weight room.
Do This.
Make an unwavering commitment to the weight room.
Lift calories daily.
Take 5g of creatine daily.
Drink a protein shake at lunch with 25g of protein daily.
Drink a gallon of water daily.
No sodas.
No energy drinks.
Eat two hard boiled eggs and 16 ounces of vitamin D chocolate milk before bed.
Sleep 8 hours every night.
Weigh yourself on the same day every week.
Lift like a linebacker.
Eat like a lineman.
Train on the track like a sprinter.

Almost every competitive athlete should be taking NSF certified creatine and protein.

Simple Physicality.
Three very basic things can change careers for high school age players.
Be able to run a 6 minute mile (most players are out of shape).
Be able to throw a baseball 100 plus yards (most players don't long toss).
Be able to bench press 225 lbs (most players think this is power lifting).
Ask yourself if you can do those things?

The majority of MLB owners and general managers have no idea why the Brewers are the best team in baseball.
I will give them a hint.
It has nothing to do with hiring Driveline employees.
It has very little to do with data and analytics.
It has a lot to do with real baseball guys and basic fundamentals.

I wonder if MLB owners are watching the Brewers and rethinking some things?
A lot should be thinking they have been fooled with the exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.

Surprising with Rob Manfred as commissioner they are not playing run rule in the World Series.
Maybe the Rays will throw a position player.

Agree or Disagree?
The Rays are advertising loud and clear the level of play in the big leagues and especially the American league has diminished.
The Dodgers would have done the same thing to Tampa Bay.

The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball.
They are doing things that have become unusual.
They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for.
They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals.
They have a hitting coach that was an r skill that played in the big leagues.
They hit the ball the other way.
They value putting the ball in play.
They adjust their approach based on situation and count.
They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.
They bunt and steal bases.
They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities.

The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.

Real Question
Why would anyone vote for a Democrat or Republican?
Both parties have contributed to making America unaffordable for the majority of middle and lower class people.

At some point a lot of MLB owners will realize they have been fooled.
Some will understand exactly what I am saying.

The best baseball coaches in the world do not pay for and or have baseball certifications hanging on their wall.
Their certification is called experience and track record.

Repeat after me.
Basic fundamentals win baseball games.
A high school team would be doing the same exact thing if they were playing at Tropicana Field.
The Brewers are taking pop-up practice at the Trop, and Pat Murphy has put on his Coach Murphy hat. He’s barking instructions out from home plate.
