you can learn a lot online. But nothing replaces sitting in a room of builders who are all chasing the same thing.
Thanks to @YawAntwiOwusu for hosting SpaceXAI in Accra last Saturday. Good people, real conversations, and a lot of ambition in one place.

Been living in Cursor + Django/DRF lately. Tried Beacon tonight basically shared memory so your AI coding tools don’t forget what you already taught them.
Setup on Windows was a bit fiddly (hooks + restart), but the idea makes sense if you hop between agents.

Container queries work in every major browser now, and the underrated part is the units:
.card-wrap { container-type: inline-size; }
.card h2 { font-size: clamp(1rem, 5cqi, 2rem); }
1cqi = 1% of the container's width. Sidebar or full width, the heading fits. No JS needed.

Bootstrap 6 alpha dropped last week and barely anyone noticed. That's a shame.
Runtime-switchable, CSS-first theming on modern browser features, and v5 stays supported.
For Django templates, that's a real alternative to a Tailwind build step. Who's tried it?

Translation has always been the problem...
I know developers who are very good at what they do and yet still have nothing to show for it
It explains why someone that has half your experience can achieve more
translation is the new meta

One thing I really want to see is more experienced developers bringing parts of their existing products and businesses on-chain, as well as they helping the emerging builders find their footing on @StellarOrg
There’s a lot of talent in Ghana, and we need more spaces where experienced and upcoming developers can build together and grow the local developer community. 🇬🇭

Our ambassador @blcvkman shares why #Stellar14 matters and the exciting opportunities waiting for builders who ship!
Been building since October 5?
Now’s your chance to shine at Demo Day!

THE BCC HACKER HOUSE RECAP
Three days, Live products, Builders from across the ecosystem, 🇬🇭 🇹🇬 🇳🇬 🇿🇲 🇰🇪 .
Late-night builds, live streams, deep technical conversations, hiking, games, swimming …and a whole lot of community.
Here’s what went down
DAY 1 -THURSDAY
We day evening at the #NoBSZone. Builders arrived, connected, exchanged ideas and got to know one another. Then the build began.
The evening session turned into a late-night building sprint, with Kaleel (@nyuiela) taking us live and capturing the energy from Thursday night into Friday morning. If you missed it, check the stream links below.
It was the perfect way to start:
No pressure. No performance. Just builders building.
DAY 2 - FRIDAY- The Circle
Friday morning started with another live session from @nyuiela on building multiple AI agents using Dots.
By afternoon, the formal Hacker House build sessions were underway. @kwekutech streamed the action as builders went deep into sharing their projects and taking feedbacks during The Circle.
The goal wasn’t simply to talk about what could be built, it was to present what has been built and is live.

DAY 3 - TOUCH GRASS
After two days of intense building, it was time to step away from the screens. Day 3 was our Touch Grass Day.
We left the #NoBSZone and hiked through the Abokobi Hills towards @Ashesi .
The hike gave builders a chance to disconnect from their screens and reconnect with nature and with each other.
We reached Ashesi for snacks and games, followed by even more games, laughter, banter and eventually swimming.
It was a different kind of building, building relationships.
WHY THE HACKER HOUSE MATTERS
A strong ecosystem isn’t built by events alone.
It’s built by people who know each other. People who collaborate. People who share knowledge. People who challenge each other. People who build together.
The @BCC_Ghana Hacker House was designed to create exactly that environment.
A place where builders could come together, work on real projects, exchange ideas, find collaborators and create memories outside the usual conference format.
And that’s exactly what happened.
The Hacker House was more than a hackathon. It was a shared experience.
A builder community in action.
To everyone who showed up, built, shared, streamed, documented, collaborated and touched grass with us:
Thank you.
And to the builders working on your products, Keep building.
The house may be over. The building isn’t.

"we had a wonderful run chiseling that code by hand and it’s over.
On the other side of that is an exciting new career as professional maker of things, steering intelligence that was only available in science fiction up until a moment ago
What a privilege to have been there when we did it all by hand and be there at the exact moment where we switch over."

My god this is such a good speech that every SWE needs to hear. You know what? Every person should hear it
Keep the happy memories, eyes on the reality, be excited about the future. That’s the best that anyone can do

February is here and I'm ready to pour into the things that matter most; community, connection, and impact.
This month is all about intentional growth, meaningful collaborations, and showing up for the people and projects that light me up.
