Also them removing all the scenes of Vegeta sucking up to Beerus hurts Vegeta’s characterization. He does all those things because he cares about the Earth and knows that if he doesn’t suck up to Beerus, he’ll get tired and just blow it up. The movie explicitly states that.

To be fair I think it's always been a mix of being annoyed and proud. In age of ultron he seemed nervous but in endgame he was happy
