/6 @British_Airways, you left us stranded! Our flight was canceled due to "weather in Heathrow area" (rain), & the next available flight was 3 days later. Meanwhile, my other family members flew home without issues. @UK_CAA @SimonCalder @ConsumerReports

/6 This caused us to miss work. We were travelling with a 3 year old. BA offered no hotel, food allowance, or compensation.

/6 We had to pay for hotels, an extended hire car, & extended parking on our credit card, all at great expense. Now, BA has closed our case without offering EU/UK261 compensation or reimbursement for the above.

/6 As someone who has worked in the airline industry, I'm aware of solutions like 'wet leases' or operational redundancy. BA chose to put the cost onto loyal customers instead.

/6 BA has been my preferred airline due to their routes from Heathrow, but I can no longer support them. I hope another carrier becomes dominant at Heathrow & will campaign against future gov't support for BA.

@WhichUK @MartinSLewis @consumerchamp @MoneySavingExp Bonus tweet, so many people complain to @British_Airways that there’s a whole industry scamming unhappy customers.
