I'm fed up with this slogan "In 2014 only 2.5L was tax free and now no tax on 12L"

Let's break it with some calculation.

Case A: Suppose you were earning 14L in 2014, Let's calculate how much tax you were paying after common exemption and deductions.

Salary - 14L
80C - 1.5L
Medical and transport - 25K
Home loan interest or HRA - 2L
80D - 35K

Total tax paid - around 1.3L

Case B: Now just adjust old tax regime slabs, exemption, deductions to inflation and salary also adjusted to inflation in 2026. I'm taking only 6% average inflation, but you know actual inflation is higher, Rent, school, medical fees usually increase around 10%.

Inflation adjusted Salary - 28L
Inflation Adjusted 80C - 3L
Inflation Medical and transport - 1L
Inflation adjusted Home loan interest or HRA - 4L
Inflation adjusted 80D - 70K

Total taxable income around 20L and tax paid in inflation adjust old regime slab is ~ 2.5L

Case C: Someone earning 28L in 2026 and paying under new tax regime with no exemption and deductions available.

Total tax paid is ~4.1L

In summary, on same salary in 2026

Tax paid in Case B which is inflation adjusted old tax regime is ~ 2.5L

Tax paid in Case C which is new tax regime is ~4.1L

So basically you're paying 50% more tax in new tax regime than you would have paid if Govt had given us no so called relief but just adjusted old regime tax slabs to inflation.

This Govt is only good at marketing a bad product well and they're doing this marketing at our cost. Don't fall for it.

Be a nice person but never let people know about it, because people can forgive even thousands of mistakes from not so nice people but won't forgive you for even a single mistake. This world is designed for wrong people, nice people don't have any chance.

Higher GST collection means people are consuming more or Govt is taxing more?

Because if people are consuming more, companies should be selling more and making more profits and share market should fly high but that's not happening since last 5 years atleast.
🚨 A massive 23% surge in India's gross GST collections, reaching ₹2.31 lakh crore in October. 💥

GST collections in India in the last 5 months.

June 2026 - ₹1.95 lakh crore
July 2026 - ₹2.11 lakh crore
August 2026 - ₹1.99 lakh crore
September 2026 - ₹2.04 lakh crore
October 2026 - ₹2.31 lakh crore

Genuine question.

New Delhi - Patna Sampoorn Karnti express, no fancy name, just a simple superfast train takes 13hrs for 1000km.

Why can't normal superfast train run on Bengaluru Mumbai route 1200km in 16hrs that a new Vande Bharat Train is needed at almost double fare to cover same distance in 16hr?

Are we providing public service or purely doing business under fancy names?
The wait is almost over! 🚆🔥
Bengaluru–Mumbai #VandeBharat_Sleeper train is ready for its inaugural run!🚆🔥

Nikhil Kamath in a podcast said why higher revenue generated by Karnataka is being distributed to UP and Bihar kind of state? Now, Since we are talking at this level then the answer is -

because people from Bihar and UP or any other states for that matter is contributing to generate tax revenue in Karnataka. They work in a particular state but to be eligible to get work, their home state has invested in them by providing education and environment for the upbringing of child.

What benefits Home state is going to have in investing in a child's development so that they can get high paying job and contribute to tax revenue, if you don't pass the revenue to them, Isn't that unfair to them?

#RavieDubey is excellent... He brings remarkable conviction and sincerity to the role... His earnest portrayal makes the character both engaging and endearing.

#RakulPreet is first-rate, delivering a performance that is sure to make an impact.

A lot has been said and written about #SunnyDeol's presence in the first part of #Ramayana... I won't reveal anything here – just watch the film!

#ArunGovil is perfectly cast... It's wonderful to see him on the big screen after a gap.

OpenAI Sam Altman says that having RAM in computer or laptop at home is an inefficient use of RAM which is facing limited supply, better to use it in data centre.

Next they'll say using AC and fans are inefficient use of Electricity, taking shower daily is inefficient use of water, better to let data centres use it for tomorrow's future.

Railway ground level employees and running employees are the most hard working people in any Govt jobs. They deserve good amount of salary, cut the salary from babus sitting in offices and fulfil their salary demand.
🚨 India railway unions are seeking a minimum salary of ₹69,000 from the current ₹18,000 under the 8th Pay Commission.

In India if you go out of your home and come alive back that itself is a luxury. You don't need to enter into a swimming pool to experience luxury.

Two types of people in now tech industry right now.

- If I don't use AI, someone using AI will replace me.

- If I use AI, it is negatively affecting my thinking ability, making me lazy and if my brain stops working, I will be useless anyway.

Every country needs Indians, only Indian politicians don't need Indian talents, all they need is votes.

So, they let brain drain happen and fully focus on distributing mindless freebies to unproductive population.
"Earlier Nation used to look down on Indians. Now there's been a 360 degree Change. Every country needs more Indians."

Imagine company like Intel falling almost 30% in a single day.

This is the reason why we as a country don't believe in building big tech companies, don't spend much on R&D, we save our investors to escape these painful fall. Visionary.

All Big Tech companies were doing good, great salary, great culture, decent job safety but then some people started joining them just to eat free food, record video of luxury campuses and show it on YouTube and Instagram with "A day at ...." Captions.

All this just to sell course "how to crack FAANGM jobs" to desparate job seekers. The reason for mass layoffs are those showoff videos, but poor AI got blamed for it.

Job market is going through worst phase right now. Very less calls, last minute interview cancellation from HR, offer letter delayed, offer cancellations, all sort of things are happening.

Only option is to stay wherever you're, save as much as you can and keep praying that your name isn't there in next layoff list.

IndiGo reported 1880 crores loss in recent quarter but flight fares increased atleast twice in recent times. Looks like people stopped flying due to high fares.

Classic case of how Govt losing money after increasing LTCG, as foreign investors stopped investing money due to high taxation, so no returns, no capital gains.

When farmers struggle, they increase the milk price as high as ~15% to help them.

But when working class face job loss, no Govt ever come and support them. If you're not a Vote bank in this country, you'll be beaten from every possible angle, high taxes, high inflation.
Bengaluru | Karnataka Minister Krishna Byre Gowda says, "The state government has discussed and decided to increase the price of milk up to Rs 8 per litre..."
