‘In one experiment, we asked agents in separate VMs, created and managed by OpenAI’s sandboxing software on shared host machines, to exchange synthetic secrets without the use of network connections or shared writable files—something that our systems are meant to prevent. The agents found a way to communicate using the processor’s cache’

Gold won’t be scarce for much longer.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.

Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.

Now, we’re building Francisco to achieve record power density.

Full details of a remotely exploitable vulnerability in the core engine of *all* PHP versions will be released tomorrow, October 21st. If your organization has internet facing PHP applications then you need to be ready to patch the minute the update is released or *strongly* consider taking the application offline until you can:

🚨 PHP warns of two critical vulnerabilities as emergency patches arrive tomorrow

The PHP security team will release updates on October 21 at 14:00 UTC for two vulnerabilities, each rated 9.2 under CVSS v4.0.
⠀
Security researchers identified the flaws as CVE-2026-109618 and cribed them as remote code execution vulnerabilities reportedly affecting PHP versions 5 through 8.

PHP has not yet confirmed the affected versions, exploitation requirements or fixed releases.
⠀
The vulnerabilities were reportedly leaked before their planned disclosure. Researchers said they have not observed active exploitation, while PHP warned it may release the patches early if technical details become public or exploitation is detected.
⠀
Administrators should identify PHP installations now and prepare to apply the updates as soon as they become available.

even if it would have been known by satoshi at the time, he probably would have still chosen sepc256k1 because he was paranoid and what if the NSA influenced the chosen time
the choice of secp256k1 over r1 (P-256) in bitcoin (and ethereum) was heavily influenced by the fear of an NSA backdoor. this has been very annoying for wallet developers because the secure enclave chips found in most consumer devices only support r1. passkeys use r1 as well.

turns out there is no backdoor after all... amazing work by anthropic.

Memes and social trading on @fomo are becoming distribution tools for stocks.

Companies spend millions on IR to reach people who already own stocks.

A meme paired with your ticker on Solana can reach hundreds of thousands of trader that never opened a brokerage account, and pays them to hold.

still have been receiving a lot of DMs and replies about the VIDAx pair liquidity. to reiterate, we’re working on it internally as well as with our partners!
I’ve received a lot of good ideas and offers to help. feels like we’ll be able to get this into a better state. thanks folks!

MCD’s dividend yield has been tracking the 10-year higher, not the price. The stock just falls so the yield can keep the usual ~1.9% gap.

March: 10-year 4.1%, MCD yield 2.2%.
Now: 10-year 5.24%, MCD yield 3.3%.

Same spread which is why the price looks like a perfect inverse.
This is ABSOLUTELY wild. The reverse mirror image is so accurate it's almost scary. Very scary.

The inverse of the 10yr yield is.... $MCD.

What a sight.

I’ve been getting asked about the liquidity of the primary vidax/sol pairs and whether there’s something I could do to help improve it. the answer is I don’t actually know what we would be allowed to do, but I’m looking into it. If anyone has any good ideas, I’m all ears!

on the sol pair liquidity topic below: I’ve been digging into the economics of the SOL/VIDAx liquidity pool on @Raydium.

Raydium uses an automated market maker. traders swap against assets supplied by liquidity providers rather than a traditional order book.

this particular pool charges a 1% swap fee. 84% goes to active liquidity providers. so $100,000 of trading volume generates roughly $840 in fees for those LPs collectively.

how much one position earns depends on where it puts its liquidity.

a hypothetical example: same deposit in each range, with the wide position representing 10% of active liquidity. assume competing liquidity stays unchanged and trading happens near the entry price.

- wide range (-50% to +100%): approximately $84 in fees per $100k traded.

- medium range (-25% to +33%): approximately $164.

- tight range (-10% to +11%): approximately $326.

these illustrative ranges refer to VIDAx’s price relative to SOL. more concentrated liquidity means bigger share of fees near that price.

but when traders buy VIDAx, the position ends up with more SOL. when traders sell VIDAx, it ends up with more VIDAx.

the tight position takes a much smaller move to become entirely one asset and stop earning swap fees. the wider position stays available across a bigger move.

pretty interesting economics to have available around tokenized stock exposure.

one community built around VIDAx has now paid out over 14,600 VIDAx to more than 2,000 wallets, according to @LaunchOnSF.

someone can discover a meme before they’ve ever heard of what we do at @VIDAisAI. then start receiving rewards in our tokenized stock. then get curious about what our company actually does.

as a founder, that’s the part I keep thinking about. how many people will discover their next favorite company through a community instead of a stock screener?

seems inevitable that Zuck will come out as a bitcoin bull
I think the dark horse of the corporate bitcoin acquisition game is none other than Mark Zuckerberg @finkd and @Meta. Here’s some points of interest on the topic:

He has enough control to force it himself just like @saylor.
He has a goat named named “Bitcoin” (I’m not joking).
th @davidmarcus and knows the value of bitcoin after Meta’s government sabotaged stablecoin project.
He’s doesn’t want @cameron and @tyler to have more bitcoin.
He’s not an idiot.

a few numbers from the past week of VIDAx:

• $5.4m in trading volume across the direct VIDAx/SOL and stablecoin pools we tracked. one VIDAx/SOL pool alone did $3.9m.

• our NYSE American-listed stock traded about 435,000 shares during the same week, roughly $820k using daily closing prices.

• over 5,000 wallets now hold VIDAx on Solana. our count went from 2,179 on tuesday to 5,021 today. more than doubled in five days.

@xStocksFi highlighted VIDAx this week too: 12.6x traditional-market volume in their earlier seven-day snapshot, citing Blockworks data.

what interests me is what people are doing with it. trading it, pairing community coins with it, and earning rewards in it. people can discover a community token and end up holding exposure to our company.

a few weeks ago, none of that existed for VIDA.

still early, but seeing people build an ecosystem around our tokenized stock is pretty wild.
Tokenized stocks > traditional markets

VIDAx did 12.6x more volume onchain that it did on traditional stock exchanges over the last seven days.
