Skip the county-by-county auction and paperwork grind. LienFi handles:

Assets: third party approved institutions source and acquire assets

Custody: approved custodians review listings for accuracy, hold the paperwork, and administer the underlying assets

Marketplace: g access to participants on both the buy and sell side

Professional work. Individual access.

The tax lien market has historically operated through fragmented, offchain workflows.

The LienFi SDK gives funds, asset managers and other market participants a direct way to integrate LienFi’s marketplace infrastructure into the products they already operate.

The SDK is TypeScript, ESM and has zero runtime dependencies. viem is available as an optional peer dependency, so the REST client works without it.

Funds, vaults, keepers and other applications can now build directly on LienFi.

Agents are supported as well.

LienFi’s hosted MCP server allows an authorized AI agent to find, price and purchase a lien from a wallet it controls, using authorization signed by the user.

The goal is not to turn every tax lien firm into a crypto company. It is to give the market better infrastructure for accessing, distributing and transacting these assets.

You think equities onchain are interesting. Just wait for bonds.

As a former bond trader, this is the one I’m really excited about.

And not just US Treasuries. Gilts, bunds, emerging market sovereigns, corporate credit, the whole yield curve. Then eventually rates and credit derivatives.

Bonds are also just much better collateral than equities. Government bonds make up more than half of the initial margin posted for non-cleared derivatives in TradFi. They’re liquid, they yield and they don’t move as much as equities.

Crypto has already found real PMF for DeFi in borrowing, lending and collateral. Putting a much wider range of bonds onchain makes all of that more interesting.

It also massively increases the amount and variety of high-quality yield available to consumers.

Onchain bonds are going to be fun.
