On August 13, 2026 at 2:59pm, my little sister Chizoma passed away at the age of 32 after a 2.5 year battle with leukemia. We were firmly planted in our identities of being the youngest boy and youngest girl of the four of us, so I cannot describe the feeling of how lost I feel unger sibling.

Words cannot describe how much of a light Chizo was in every aspect of people's lives. If I had to describe her in one word, it would be generous. Generous with her love. Generous with her happiness. Generous with taking care of others, even sometimes at her own detriment. The amount of love and care she showed her friends, family, and loved ones was ever-present throughout her entire life, even throughout her battle with cancer. Through this leukemia journey, I learned that she had an O- blood type, the universal giver, which I would joke with her is the most fitting blood type for her personality. In the final weeks before she passed, as I saw in pain and hurting, I was crying while holding her hand and she started caressing my hand, comforting me. I smiled while crying and asked, "Why are you comforting me? I'm the one that's supposed to be comforting you." The day before her last, she commented to our mother on her weight loss and was like, "We need to take you out shopping and get you a new wardrobe, these clothes are too baggy on you." To show this love and care to others even in her final moments speaks to how compassionate of a person she was.

I never thought I'd experience a day without the ability to hear her loud laugh. No longer will I be able to feel annoyed by her calling me "my bank account." Even now, I'm yearning to hear her voice and call me that one more time while hugging me, returning back to the old times.

There is so much more to say than I can fit in a post. The world lost truly one of the brightest and kindest human beings, and I am honored to forever be your big brother #2 (and bank account). Rest in peace Chizo, I love and miss you so much already and I cannot wait until I see you again.

AirBNB had its place and time, but it’s over. Had a lovely stay at a Hyatt last night, left trash in the can, towels on the ground, and am confident my corporate overlord isn’t going to light me up with a guest review video. A professional exchange of goods for money. The AirBNB hosts did this to themselves and the platform lost control long ago.
its just bonkers the new policy @Airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

Barack Obama just explained what is wrong with America.

"Treating other with respect, just basic stuff. Stuff that used to be, wasn't democratic or republican it was American. it was human. it was how we treat each other just basic decency...yeah"

OBAMA: He pulled out of the JCPOA, starts this war—Seven months later, six months after they declared victory, how's that war going?

Our allies and our bases have been attacked. Americans have been killed. Hundreds of Americans have been wounded. We have run down our stock of has veto power over the strait of hormuz, where oil goes through to the world market.

This is the reason why the price of oil is up. Nobody disputes that. This is the reason the price of diesel is up. This is the reason why the price of just about everything is up.

Meanwhile, you got the defense secretary who's squarely focused on important matters: the jawlines and testosterone levels of our troops.

These are not serious people. And the problem is you end up having to pay the price for their lack of seriousness.

OBAMA: When I was president, all these Republicans are all deficits, deficits, debt, debt. You got to do something about it. And now—$40 trillion—Crickets. Somehow deficits only matter when a Democratic president is in office

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.

I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.

The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.

My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.

To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.

For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.

If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

We finally have an explanation for “Facebook is listening to me through my phone”. They’d never do that (and it’s not really possible).

Turns out literally everyone else was — and then selling that to ad data brokers.
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.

Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.

Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was. n found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.

This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

Running at 60fps with frame gen, full second screen support, touch weapon wheel and map on bottom screen.

All from a reverse engineered Xbox 360 ISO, meaning the games only 17GB.

Been working on this since before the Web Assembly version

Got a cheap embroidery machine off amazon for $300 where the biggest complaint is the mandatory $12/mo app that you’re forced to use. Had ChatGPT create its own app that communicates with the machine. Generative art patches incoming!

Yo, if y'all know of any good portrait painters/artists, can you send me their IG or portfolio links? My siblings and I want to commission a painting of our little sister for our parents.
