PlayStation's memory cards were pricey and limited. That got third-party wheels turning, and before long, Datel released the Memory Drive, a floppy disk drive which plugged into the PS1 memory card slot and let owners store game saves on cheap and plentiful 3.5-inch floppy disks.

With Rust/C# you need to combine it to some extend with C++ or stay on what Blueprints allows you to do, which is a lot but from my view is not enough. For instance, most engine APIs are extended with virtual functions meaning you just cant use them without making a wrapper.

Good side effect about doing a low level integration is that changes were minimal. Mostly around ICppStructOps :-)

For many years, I've been developing a new procedural modeling technique that overcomes many of the limitations of my PhD work on Model Synthesis and WFC. It's a completely new approach that uses graph grammars. It doesn't use tiles. I just presented it at SIGGRAPH!

If you’ve ever played RDR2, you probably noticed when you walk over snow, it deforms as you walk through it. And its not just your character, anything that interacts with the snow affects it.

The last week on Twitter has been really an amazing string of WTF, even by the impressive standards of Elon. It's really funny when you put all the pieces together.
it's important to start at the beginning. Twitter's pretty broke.

Your "lightweight" browser starts with a 760MB(!) installer. That's 12163 64k intros, which is roughly 36489 minutes (~25 days) of HD audio/video content.
