I think she's neurodivergent AND narcissistic. She's also a functional adult who is capable of understanding consensus reality, and choosing to harm people in order to live in another, more pleasant version for herself.
It’s a very good movie but if your takeaway is that Elizabeth Holmes might be a neurodivergent victim I think you have forcibly disconnected yourself from reality.
More specifically, she *obviously* gets The Who’s on First joke—and is profoundly motivated to pretend she doesn’t.

Obama: "That well-known evil empire Canada. That historical adversary of ours. Canada! *laughs* It's your neighbor. It's a few minutes' drive over the bridge! These are the people who gave us Martin Short and maple syrup. They are the nicest people! And someone we've gotten them so mad."

You know, I would like to be able to do something else with my life besides writing about Canadian politics. Like, if we got really boring, I could move on and write goofy serial occult crime fiction or something like that.
I want more premiers who are just some decent accountants named Dave and Kathy. We don't even need to know their last names, really.

Relatively normal and likeable dude replaces deeply unpleasant and polarizing political animal as leader of conservative party and wins massively, in what is surely a fluke one-off with no broader meaning or significance that anyone should pay attention to or ponder in any way.

Admittedly, boosting this is self-interested. But he's not wrong.
Can’t believe CBC’s At Issue is dissecting the Alberta referendum with a panel of Toronto Globe, Ottawa-based TorStar and Montreal voices with a guest B.C. radio guest and not even a token Albertan. No wonder they’re alienated.

That's how we wind up with an OnlyFans account, Marty.
I think you should do @the_lineca unslept and spicy from now on.
Damn it. Give your fans what they want!!

The kids on TikTok made me famous yesterday because I did this "unslept and spicy" interview on CBC. In hindsight, this was more suggestive than I had intended at the time.
I'm not walking it back though.

A lot of Conservatives are going to get behind this argument under the belief that it's necessary to save Danielle in order to save the UCP.
If the UCP manages to lose the next election to the NDP, remember this.

"They should call @LukaszukAB from Forever Canada, he's the reason it was on the ballot."
Premier Smith asked about Albertans frustrations over having to have a separation referendum, and she rebuffs any responsiblility for the question being asked.

This is so bad faith and dishonest that it causes physical pain in my body.
Danielle Smith throws Forever Canada under the bus, blaming them for the referendum: "If somebody doesn't want to put a vote forward, then they shouldn't start a petition campaign. If they're going to do that, then they have to understand that there are consequences to it."

Nor should it. It is a constant battle. If you believe in this country, you should be striving to make it better at every moment, and selling people on it. #cdnpoli #ableg

True, but of course, nobody has a more superficial picture of "The Real Alberta" than disillusioned Ontarians. It's a "no zealot like the convert" phenomenon.
Alberta separatism is fuelled by a deeper disillusionment among some Canadian conservatives who increasingly see Alberta as a refuge from a country they no longer recognize. The movement is far from dead. Read my latest and subscribe to get 20% off. thefp.com/p/this-week-in…
