"Refute" does not mean "dispute" or "deny." It means that you've provided evidence that proves the claim to be incorrect. I recognize the English language to be a living, evolving thing—but dammit, I will die on this hill.

Do Trump golf courses "natural habitats" use pesticides and insecticides?
This Forbes investigation is a must-read.
Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million.
He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort.
A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill.

American legislators on both sides of the aisle should recognise the absurdity of allowing a critical piece of U.S. national security infrastructure to be controlled by an unstable drug abusing billionaire.
I mean, if Starshield can be throttled in Ukraine, can it also be throttled in the Persian Gulf or around Taiwan if Musk disagrees with this or that military operation? The mystery of the last week certainly raises the question.

As Trump administration keeps insisting that Musk is the sole culprit here, the below tweet becomes more relevant. I personally believe the administration is lying, that Trump gave the order. But if not ...
I don't believe that Musk turned off Starlink to Ukraine at his own sole initiative. I believe Trump is implicated up to his painted eyebrows. But if it should be true that Musk did it - then Starlink and Space X must be nationalized by the US government immediately.

Deeply alarmed by yet another Russian escalation in the Black Sea.
A civilian vessel carrying Ukrainian and Azerbaijani crew has been struck off the coast of Romania.
These reckless attacks target innocent lives and openly defy international law.
My thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the sailor that was killed.
And with the families of the three crew members still missing.
My gratitude goes to the rescue teams working tirelessly to find them.
