@TfL my watch is 2 seconds behind the national rail platforms or 1 min 16 seconds behind the tube platforms at West Ham

@TfL Hi are these legit or fake on the Boris Bikes? I would remove but want to check it's not a new thing you're adding to the bikes. Loads at this dock.

Hi @MetCC are you actually investigating this guy dumping a cat next to a flytip as a crime? I've done half your job by getting the exact date and time + footage of it happening, but your officers seem very confused as to whether you're investigating it as a crime.

Ultimately, that's all the info I have. Here's the cat - we named her Scrabble. She's at the Celia Hammond rescue in Canning Town now, as I've already told you. They say it looks like she recently had kittens before she was dumped.

I've tried sending the second bit of footage and details but your most recent response was that your neighbourhood response team wouldn't investigate this sort of crime - but you told me to email them.

Anyone in Manchester want a cheap Billy bookshelf or Micke desk? Collection at a flat near New Islington tram stop...

Would there be so many unlawful e-bikes (motorbikes) on the road if takeaway companies provided legal, regulated, safe, pedal-assist e-bikes?
Would the riders break traffic laws if they weren't only paid per delivery?
Look at this Takeaway .NL bike depot I saw in Rotterdam.

My Environmental Information Regulations request in to why the building of this bridge has been delayed has itself been delayed.
It's been a whole year since construction started on Manchester's newest bridge, so I threw it its first birthday party - complete with chocolate cake!
Planning documents said it'd take 2.5 months, the sign said it would take six months - a year later, it's still not open.

@Keir_Starmer On the railways, however, engineering work has been deliberately scheduled to coincide with the bank holiday.

@sainsburys how do I get off this please? The member of staff didn't know what to do with the QR code so I just checked out at a self service because I can't be bothered to faff around

@natehiggins @TfL @MayorofLondon @SadiqKhan @EllyBakerAM @CarolineRussell I was and am unimpressed at the answer as I had these experiences at three corner shops trying to add my Railcard in 2019. Anyway, rant over!

Can someone explain to me why train companies seem so keen on making sure passengers follow their terms and conditions, but when it's the other way round (National Rail Conditions of Travel), it seems fine to ignore?

@jackfifield Hi Jack. As we do have services running today, tickets dated today only won't be valid for travel tomorrow, unfortunately. If you wish to travel tomorrow, you can claim a refund and rebook your ticket. I apologise for any inconvenience caused. - Kim

@SmalePerry @SotonianRed @fenifur @Dorsetsaferroad Sure but when there's a road safety epidemic I'd say focus on the major causes first

I just want this or the off peak version of this. I can get it through Railforums but they don't have a 12% cashback offer with Amex right now 😵💫

Considering the DfT runs TransPennine Express and Northern, why do passengers affected by a cancellation potentially have to wait an hour for one with the same logo?
Why not just let them get the next train? @AndyBurnhamGM @LouHaigh @northernassist

In Rotterdam, I saw this depot for Takeaway .NL (aka Just Eat) full of identical delivery bicycles - it was massive.
I'm certain British politicians could solve this problem of illegal electric mopeds without banning cyclists.

In a rare outing for our opinion site, I’ve written about why councils seeking to ban bikes from city centres due to delivery bikes are treating it as a “cycling problem” when it’s actually a law enforcement problem - these are mainly electric mopeds.
