we’ve spent months rebuilding @itstuyo, and it’s now one of the best banking apps in the world full stop.
this is the first version that feels like the product we set out to build. the team absolutely crushed it.
i’m so proud of what we’re putting in people’s hands today. we’ve been talking for a long time about how much more a bank could do for people and the right foundation is finally here.

we’re shutting down @itstuyo’s buy now, pay maybe on october 31. wanted to explain why directly, so i recorded this.

starting nov 1st, tuyo will have the most boring and honest cashback in the world. 1.5%, globally. no caps, no minimums, no categories, no membership.
there’s a lot more we want to build at tuyo, and this gives us the focus to do it. excited to show you what i mean over the next few days.

Tried to book a hotel with Muse last night. Hilton's site put my agent in a doom loop — third retry, I gave up and booked it myself. That's not a bug. That's the whole story of agentic commerce right now.
This week on More or Less (Jessica's out — three VCs, zero adult supervision):
— My take: MCP and these agent 'protocols' are irrelevant. It's all just APIs. Machines can either reach your service or they can't. The real fight is business and politics: if you let agents intermediate you, the market becomes perfectly efficient and your business is worthless. Hilton gets this. Amazon gets this.
— Dave's counter: there's a difference between a platform inserting itself into your life and a tool YOU send on your behalf. Are we building agents, or building agency?
— Meta and Microsoft just halved their Claude usage. Claude must be so lonely.
— The future isn't standards, it's treaties. I registered agenttreatyframework.com before we finished recording.
