I have the worst news…
Sadly, 29-year-old Chris DeLong, a police officer in Columbia SC, father of 2 and husband, has been k*lled in the line of duty.
He was responding to a call involving a violent, repeat offender who was arrested across 3 states.
His widow is devastated.
t find the energy to respond to everyone right now. i'm living a nightmare. this will be the last post I'll be making for until I can understand what I am going through.
I am heart broken. My person. My love. The best dad to our babies and the person I've been with since I was 16 was killed today in the line of duty.
someone's selfish decisions took away the one person I loved and i knew I would always have, and my babies now have to grow up with their daddy.
i can't process this. i want to wake up from this. I can't respond to everyone but i needed to take a minute to update everyone.
I'm going through every stage of grief while also still remembering there's two babies having to go through this as well.
I'm pissed. I'm heartbroken. I'm everything. Somebody wake me up. I've never had to be without Chris.
I'm going to figure this out because I have to live for my babies. I am not okay. I need Chris. I need my person. I need him!! I love you Chris. I need you.”
Please pray for her and Chris’s kids… I cannot imagine what they are going through.

This is 100% how all entertainers should respond. How if God's name does it ever seem like a good idea to alienate any percentage of your potential fan base? Trick question...it doesn't make sense.
Most celebrities in the 1980’s and 1990’s were like this. Virtually every sports star of my childhood didn’t say a word about politics. As a result, they had universal popularity, like Dolly Parton.

WHO IS SHE?
Julie Falcon. 18. Singer, songwriter, producer. Berklee College of Music.
Before the Savannah Bananas and the Firefighters even took the field at Wrigley, she stole the show.
No vocal gymnastics. No statement. Just the anthem.
For everyone deployed who doesn’t get s one’s for you.
Until they all come home. 🇺🇸

So now the cameras are swatting us. Great.
🚨 FLOCK ERROR = GUNS DRAWN
Police shut down I-94, boxed in a silver SUV, and held two people at gun point after Flock cameras flagged the car as “connected to a homicide.”
Except it wasn’t.
The alert was outdated.
Authorities forgot to remove it.
Trust the algorithm.™

The world needs more like Xavier.
Why will I ride for Xavier Legette no matter what?
This video is why.
He’s been through unimaginable pain but still remains grateful and walks around with a smile on his face.
Keep being great @XavierLegette 🙏🏼🫡

A Tribute to Senator Lindsey Graham.
Senator Lindsey Graham dedicated his life to serving America with unwavering patriotism. He served over 33 years in the U.S. Air Force—six-and-a-half years on active duty as a JAG officer, including time at Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany, the South Carolina Air National Guard and Reserves. He deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan during congressional breaks, earning the Bronze Star Medal and retiring as a Colonel.
In the Senate since 2003, Graham chaired the Judiciary and Budget Committees, championed robust national defense, tax reform, trade promotion, and support for South Carolina’s economy (like deepening the Port of Charleston). Known as a conservative problem-solver, he consistently fought for strong foreign policy, fiscal responsibility, and America’s interests abroad.
He may not have been my cup of tea but he did love America. Rest in peace.

Regardless of what you think of him, this will always be one of the most powerful speeches in the history of the Senate.
Back in 2018 when this happened, friends of mine who were not political teared up after watching this.
