I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all.
The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field.
If you have a loved one with nical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use.
This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live.
Some of the interesting pages:
Treatments: onco.cc/drugs
A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/
And targets: onco.cc/targets/
The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/
1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/
Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/
Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/
Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-reques…
Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics
Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/
Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes
Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers
Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline
Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/
Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/
The startups: onco.cc/startups/
Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/
Key medical people: onco.cc/people/
Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/
Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/
There are other views as well, take a browse.
Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo
If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live.
If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated.
I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well.
I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem.
Let the feedback flow!

i've been quietly working on a movie
it's my way of processing the times we live in, a coming of age of sorts
it's a poetic, feminine, near-future fiction feature
i've been learning writing, directing, and film production on the job. we're early in the process. because i'm a ortfolio, i want to give my future cast & crew a glimpse of a few scenes as i see them. so i'm doing prototype shoots of core scenes with friends (and myself!) in them
these screenshots are from a blocking / prototype shoot of a scene called 'bloodline'. no ai, no edits, just red velvet and a cold stinson beach sunrise
immediate learnings:
1. it's much easier to direct when you're not also in the shots :)
2. sunrise comes fast and then, poof, it's gone
3. even for experiments, be crazy prepared: have a run of show, assign roles, brief everyone the day before especially if you're learning on the job
4. experiment experiment experiment
5. some of the best shots were unplanned
6. looking through footage takes a lot of time
i will try to share more behind the scenes and learnings in the coming weeks & months if I can avoid spoilers
thanks @olivewithatie @kabojanowska for jumping into the ocean in the name of art, @elisamuelsson for your amazing camera work, and @brandonkachen for sick drone capture

and by lemur march i meant lemming march though apparently neither jump off the cliffs
ants sometimes coordinate themselves into death spirals so maybe that's what we're doing and civic courage is the sexy pheromone we need en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ant_mill

my 1st reaction to news that @DarioAmodei @sama @elonmusk are agreeing to coordinate & slow the frontier development was tears of relief
yes, the coordination might be minimal, the agreement might be strategic, incentives prevail... but we've been living though the lemur march long enough and this is hope.
here to help if I can

Finally
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.
You can read the full post here: darioamodei.com/post/we-must-p…

in 2012 my friend said: come to burning man with me. what was it? don't google it, she said.
we had no tent, just our small hertz rental car, some water & canned food. and it was marvelous.
i have returned every year since -- through covid, dust storms, rain, pregnancies, with kiddos. my longest burn was a full month building @temple2023.
i don't know a better place to build, learn, play. burning man made me an artist, a woodworker, a carpenter, an electrician, a caterer, and a much more resilent human.
i hope you go one day.

Ants have secretly been rebuilding human civilization.
We’ve been backing deep tech startups for over a decade.
Recently we noticed something strange. A huge number of the best founders are coming out of the same 4 companies:
Anduril, Neuralink, Tesla, SpaceX.
We started calling them The ANTS.
We wanted to know what made these companies such great startup factories, so we flew across the country to talk with these founders.

Accepting this race and entering the “endgame” is a hubristic gamble that should not be launched from a private company’s Slack. Attempting to speedrun alignment should require extraordinary confidence that there are no better trajectories available.

Thank you Yayoi. I love your art so much. Magic is real. You were the best.
In 2013 your infinity room left me in tears. In and out. 1 minute. I was reprogrammed. Space can do that? Many years later, it lead me to build the @temple2023
Like you, I also love pumpkins. And . There are jokes made on how much I love pumpkins.
Yayoi, I made a polka dot infinity room 2 weeks ago and now I'll think this was always going to be for you.
Don't rest in peace! Frolic in joy through time and space!

Thanks for the feature @WSJ! The team is working very hard to make more Airforms right now here in Kailua, Hawaii. You can check out more here at airform.space. They are now delivering in Hawaii and California.
A band of ambitious entrepreneurs in Hawaii are building a manufacturing and technology industry that officials hope will rescue the state from a sagging tourism economy, depressed wages and an exodus of young residents to the mainland.
