On May 11th, 2025, Mother’s Day, Captain Marvin Taylor III's wife gave birth to their fifth baby at an Austin hospital.

Marvin left the hospital to go pick up his other children so they could meet their new sibling.

He never made it.

At 1:05AM, he was stopped at a red light on East Koenig Lane.

According to court records, that’s when a Dodge Durango came flying down the road and rear-ended his van at 103 MPH... the speed limit was 45.

The crash sent Marvin’s van sliding 150 feet into a median.

He passed away right there at the scene.

The man who k*lled him is Rodney Bremby, he was completely drunk.

He was booked on a $103,000 bond... and he bonded out within DAYS.

In August, he pleaded guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle, a second-degree felony.

And this week, the sentence came down.

6 months in jail.

10 years of probation.

403 hours of community service.

Those 403 hours were the family’s request, it was Marvin’s badge number.

Now FIVE CHILDREN will grow up without their father, and the man who did it gets 6 month in prison.

I just watched a video of an American High School English Teacher reading REAL responses from her students after they read The Great Gatsby.

And I'm not even joking, I had to pause it because I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

These are 12th graders. SENIORS. About to graduate. About to vote, go to college, get jobs, run this country.

And they couldn't understand basic themes. They couldn't write a complete sentence. Some of them thought Gatsby was the villain because he had money. Some thought Daisy was a hero. The reading comprehension was just... gone.

We have a SERIOUS education crisis in America and nobody wants to talk about it.

If we don't address this, we have a horrible future ahead of us. Like, genuinely horrible.

And these kinds of responses are to be expected! Did you see the stats? 12th grade reading results in 2024 showed that reading levels in America are the LOWEST they've ever been since the assessment began in 1992. The lowest in 30+ years!

We took the books out of schools. We replaced them with iPads. We told kids that their feelings matter more than facts. We told teachers they can't fail anyone. We let TikTok raise our kids instead of literature.

And this is the result.

A generation that can't read. Can't think critically. Can't understand a 100-year-old book that is literally about THEM - about the American Dream, about fake people, about chasing money.

Gatsby would be rolling in his grave if he knew kids today can't even understand his story.
We need to ban phones in schools nationally. We need to bring back real books, real tests, real standards. And we need to start holding parents accountable too.

Because if a senior in high school can't read The Great Gatsby and tell you what it's about, we have failed. Not them. WE have failed them.

NEW: Democrat Haley Stevens' mother says she voted for Republican Mike Rogers before her daughter endorsed him.

Her mom, Maria Marcotte, says many people who know and love Stevens voted for Rogers after witnessing what she went through.

"Haley is her own woman. She always has aid, shutting down claims that Stevens was influenced.

"Suggesting a man made her decision for her is insulting to her, and it is insulting to me as her mother," she said, according to CNN.

Stevens' fiancé, Jason Turkish, had previously endorsed Rogers.

"I voted for Mike Rogers before Haley said a word, and so did many people who love her. We watched what she went through this year," Marcotte said.

"Haley wasn’t even engaged when she was screamed off her own convention stage. It was Haley who was chased out of a park and called a Zionist pig. It was Haley who was told not to come to church."

A private company called Municipal Tax Service (MTS) is hired by cities to drive c license plate readers on cars parked in different cities

It then makes connections if that car lives in that area and sends the owner a bill for new taxes on that vehicle for being in the city

The owner of this vehicle says she doesn’t live in that city, provided proof and says her car was only in a different city because her kid drives there for school

MTS didn’t care and said that the proof didn’t matter and they had to pay it. They appealed to the city, the city said they had to deal with MTS

But here’s the problem, MTS gets paid 38% commission on tax revenue they recover + $50 per vehicle billed to the owner. They made $9 million in commission in just one year from sending people additional tax bills

So this company has no incentive to ever help you and just deny you, which they did

Only after the mainstream media got involved would the city drop this one new tax bill which was false to begin with

In America we now literally have private companies driving around scamming our license plates to tax us more money

This is insanity and it needs to end
