@Austenll put it into sickening perspective:
The bipartisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) investigates fraud and improper payments in federal programs. It estimates that the U.S. government loses between $233 billion and $521 billion annually just to fraud.
Facts:
Personal taxpayers making under $94,440 cumulatively pay ~$236 billion in personal income taxes. This represents the bottom 75% of taxpayers.
Personal taxpayers making under $169,800 cumulatively pay ~$531 billion in personal income taxes. This represents the bottom 90% of total taxpayers.
So, the income taxes 75% to 90% of Americans are paying… are routed directly to fraud.

Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

STARLINK WORKS THE SAME WAY ITS ALWAYS WORKED. ITS NOT A WEAPONS SYSTEM, NO MATTER HOW MUCH UKRAINE WANTS IT TO BE.

Ilhan's family had to flee Africa because her father ran the brutal dictatorship in Somalia as a colonel overseeing outrageous atrocities. They weren't fleeing oppression. They WERE the oppression. She brought those good ol' Mogadishu family values to Minnesota.
EXCLUSIVE: Senior U.S. officials tell @NEWSMAX the federal probe into the mysterious past of @Ilhan Omar is being driven by the Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Unit (HRVWCU) @DHSgov, and that investigators are examining whether Omar's father committed war crimes in his to NEWSMAX starting at noon ET for more of my reporting.

@kimmonismus I remember the same doom about the internet in the 90s. The disruption was real. So was the opportunity, and it went to those of us who jumped in early. 😁

The party that goes on and on about “threats to democracy” is enraged we’re not helping a dictator who canceled elections who isn’t even an ally.
Make it make sense.

Running more than one AI agent on the same client? Keep one Decisions log they all read, with one writer per file at a time. Archive superseded files instead of deleting them. That's how several agents share one knowledge base without overwriting each other.

@SenSandersr numbers, Bernie. The 32,000 comes from a real study, Imperial College researchers in Nature Health. But nobody counted 32,000 bodies. They modeled 854 cities, estimated 50,391 heat deaths this summer, then used a statistical counterfactual to attribute 32,619 of them to warming. No death certificate lists climate change as the cause, and about half the estimated dead were 85 or older. That is an estimate, and you posted it as a body count.

I have many sites on #PHP, including one that gets over 10k of views a day. As soon as I saw mainstream media pile on the PHPocolypse, I knew it was already being ridiculously overhyped.
I scheduled installation of the patch, read my host’s and @Cloudflare’s bulletins and went back to work. I didn’t freak out and “take down my sites”. I had backups in case of a worst case scenario.
And if you’re listening to the government… who has data breaches daily… for your advice on tech, go find another industry to work in.
Stop joining the freak out social virus. You’re embarrassing yourself. There are countless vulnerabilities in tech, and talented companies building defenses every day for them.

If anyone bothered to read the actual threat, they would have realized how rare it is. "The issue can only occur under an unusual combination of configuration and application code. An application must set session.serialize_handler to php_binary or php_serialize in its configuration and then switch it to php at runtime with ini_set() before calling session_start()." php.net/archive/2026.p…

Today’s adventure, our 95 pound puppy Gianna was running around the yard with, what I thought, was a piece of firewood. Nope. It was an Eastern Box Turtle. It’s protected in Indiana so I safely relocated it to a front yard garden unharmed but frozen up tight in its hinged shell.

🚨 Wow. Taxpayer-funded Indiana University just disclosed it’s hiring TWO foreigners on H-1B visas as data analysts. One even gets to work remotely from a house near Indianapolis.
The same university has awarded thousands of degrees in data and computer science.
Indiana should ers in its own state government

I used to hate @Cloudflare, now I can’t live without it. As people are scrambling for this #PHP vulnerability… as usual they’re keeping ahead of it. Even for free customers. developers.cloudflare.com/changelog/post…

We were told the riots that destroyed American cities were because we didn’t adopt open borders, globalism, climate change, and free everything, Here’s a country that actually did. It will never be enough. The lesson is clear - never give an inch.
