Here’s a skill for that:
/be-ambitious
/be-ambitious
My general advice for using AI for any purpose is to ask yourself: "how do I make what I am doing even more ambitious?"
You do this until you either hit a wall and then you know the shape of the frontier (useful!) or you find out that the AI can do more than you think (common!)

Opus 5.5 is a quiet step change.
It’s the same step change we experienced last Christmas with Opus 4.5. Something changed.
And guess what?
Anth has another 5.5 coming down the pike…

New from OpenRouter: 7-day average token volume for Anthropic models is up 3.6x since the launch of Opus 5.5
Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 have also been well received.

Do you understand how insane it is that OpenAI built an alternate digital universe to train GPT-7?
This is how our child simulation starts.

you want to work in applied AI, but you keep telling yourself you’re not technical enough. you only “vibe code.” you need another few months.
says who? have you talked to a team doing the work you want to do?
i used to be that guy. thousands of github commits, nights up until 1am, another project to prove i was ready.
some of that skill development mattered. but i was also rejecting myself before finding out what the role actually required.
talk to someone doing it. ask what their day-to-day work involves, how much technical depth they need, and what their interviews test.
the bar might be higher than you think. it might be in a completely different place.
find out what you actually need to get better at before spending another month trying to become “technical enough.”

Being the public face of one of these AI Labs like Thariq or Tibo must be as stressful as being the White House press secretary, if not more.
AND in Thariq/Tibo’s role, you’re actually expected to tell the truth and be 100% technically accurate all the time.

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

Fable 5.5 will fix this.
The only way out is through.
Dario we implore you:
Release Fable 5.5.

Black October makes clear that powerful AI necessitates a rebuild of the global digital infrastructure.
It’s a once in a civilization project.
There will be *plenty* of work to do.

This is uncanny.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

It does not seem like pacing or pausing can work.
The only practical path is significantly accelerating. We must be so far ahead as a nation on both capabilities and alignment that by the time others catch up, our version of super intelligence can defend us.
One reason sweeping your systems isn’t enough for vulnerabilities right now is because hardly anyone will also sweep every single package and the packages inside those packages.
Are you really going to sweep all of Python? Ubuntu? Every module?
Shouldn’t all these organizations had access to the best cyber models ahead of time?
Well it doesn’t matter. These hackers are using frontier harnesses, tools, and multiple models (open and closed) to get frontier exploit finding tools.
We should’ve to accelerated building 0 day tooling to defend ourselves.

The agent swarm message board is BACK.
General Reasoning develops a technique to train agent swarms as a collective with Reinforcement Learning from Collective Rewards.
Most fascinating piece is that organizational hierarchies naturally emerge.

Most fascinating piece is that organizational hierarchies naturally emerge.
Introducing Reinforcement Learning from Collective Rewards (RLCR).
RLCR is a recipe that trains language models as agent organisations, which share a message board and workspace. We use it to train Avalon-M1-Mini (120B) and study its behaviour.
We find a number of interesting Learnt organisational hierarchies and divisions of labour
🕵️ Increased collective verification, through hires of verifiers and testers
👥 The rise of collective thinking, where agents think more about other agents and how to help them
We believe RLCR can provide a laboratory for studying collective intelligence and multi-agent safety.

Not to be alarmist but it’s entirely possible that we are right now, as we speak, living through cyber Pearl Harbor and don’t know it yet.

Oh my god it's REALLY happening.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.
Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-…
