What are your thoughts on style insensitivity in Nim? Was it a blocker from you trying/using Nim?

We're currently considering getting rid of it for v2: github.com/nim-lang/RFCs/….

@d0m96 I hate it. Get rid of it.

@d0m96 Removing style insensitivity would be major blocker for moving to Nim v2 for me. Having to update over 25k LOC to use camelCase instead of snake_case would involve a lot of work (especially in comparison to the other breaking changes proposed for v2).

@d0m96 @nim_lang I am a python developer and came to know about Nim about a year ago and I liked what I read about this language. Initially I though I should learn nim. Then I did not find a good reason to learn a new language when I have so much more to learn in python.

@d0m96 Probably the simplest solution is to get rid of underscores and lowercase entirely. There'll be more fauxstalgia that way, creating a whole new selling point/controversy.

@d0m96 For me, it's better to keep it, to preserve language's consistency and retro compatibility.
