A lot of our focus this past year has been security. Part of that was building out automated exploit defense (auto-remediation) end to end: detection, rate limiting, automatic pause.

Where I think this hits a ceiling is cross-protocol attacks. And siloed rate limiters can even break composability for other protocols (think blocking liquidations they depend on).

The interesting layer is ecosystem-level. Unlike in tradfi, it's possible to build here.

For those that are wondering -- we haven't stopped shipping, we've just been focusing on security and reliability basically since the Cetus incident, understanding that absolute security is a non-negotiable.

Our infra and tooling is 10x better than it was at the beginning of the year, and so is our understanding of how to build high quality DeFi apps on Sui.

There's many ideas we want to explore on product and the stuff we've been building the past few months will give as a good foundation as we step into more complex ideas, without compromising on safety and quality.
