Pat mentioned that the keynote was a lecture from a DSL course he taught. I created a site that links to that course / other resources. Can't believe Pat was @ia_buck's advisor (created Brook, the predecessor to CUDA) and I had never heard of him codereport.github.io/vibing/pathanr…

@adamgordonbell @ninkibah @petergyang The player and editor are private repos atm. But there is a website (podgod.ca) and a public repo (github.com/codereport/pod…) that show some public endpoints that the player uses.

The real AI hack is to have your LLM of choice write you GHAs (GitHub Actions) that on a daily basis check for updates, then have that GHA launch another GHA that pulls down w/e you need (in my case building WASM/Emscripten builds of array interpreters) and then auto open PRs.

Using @cursor_ai and @claudeai Opus 4.6, vibe coded in less than a couple hours an um/uh remover that is better than @descript's Filler Remover and @buzzsprout's Magic Mastering. Crazy. Plan to build this out and fully replace the features I use in Audacity.

Felix (aka @PewDiePie) is low key at the frontier of AI research building himself a "council" of competing LLMs that have a genetic-algorithm-like process for replacement. His "tech" phase is honestly amazing. From Linux -> GPUs -> AI, so good 🔥 youtube.com/watch?v=qw4fDU…

Tried out Co-dfns APL compiler for the first time today. For a simple softmax calculation, it generated 3.7M CUDA kernels... that is... pathologically bad 😳 @arcfide 🤔🤔🤔

This is a great talk by @mattgodbolt ... but his conclusion on C++20 modules:
"Build times went from 10 sec to 40 sec... I was expecting segfaulting compilers ... [but] I got it to work pretty quickly... I think that is a great place"
🤔🤦♂️🤔

Maybe other array folks can do better. The funny part is the initial C++ / Rust code is my code from a YouTube video I made 2 years ago. And the C code is cheating - it is using a constant time formula. youtube.com/watch?v=wGCWlI…
@code_report crush this with an array language.

Honestly, @OpenAI's gpt-5 / gpt-5-fast work so terribly with Cursor. @AnthropicAI's Claude 4 Sonnet it vastly superior. The gpt models are always doing odd things and trying to use tools that aren't installed and it floods the tracing and makes it useless.
