Hi friends, I am thrilled to announce that my book, Talk Radio's America, is now available for pre-order now. As you may know, pre-orders are crucially important to the success of a book, and I'd very much appreciate it if you might consider pre-ordering.

Just a reminder, the 2022 generic ballot polls showed a very modest Republican lead but because people were assuming the polls were badly underrating Republican after 2020 expectations were out of alignment with polls. It was basically exactly right.
@KJVPopulist My prediction, the blue tsunami will actually be a blue trickle. It will be similar to how the 2022 midterms played out, but for the Democrats instead.

I don’t think anyone thinks it would be? My own predictions are slightly higher, but only slightly. I haven’t seen anyone credible significantly higher. The crushingly disappointing night is more like 230 House seats and 50 Senate seats.
The fact that this required saying is kind of an alarming indicator of dizzying expectations among some Dems--53 Senate seats and 439 House would be an insanely good outcome and not something to take as a letdown!

Given how good the Bears have proven to be, I do wonder what might have been for the Eagles had they not come out of that game and immediately had injuries derail their season.

A Jan. 6 defendant — pardoned by Trump for threatening to "put a bullet" in Nancy Pelosi's head while driving around D.C. with guns/ammo — has been newly charged with threatening to assassinate D.C.'s federal judges.

Credit to @SeamusHughes for the find.

One of the interesting things about 2022 is that there was a localized “blue wave” in the Great Plains. The region, nearly as a whole, performed to the left of the nation, and this was in a relatively red environment. What happens to it in a D+8-12 environment?

This is very interesting, but it sort of makes sense. Not as many of the Farm Belt issues there. The white non-college voters were also probably always Republican (unlike IA or OH). They may also be more rural & more Evangelical?

This is just so wrong. If El Sayed wins, and so does Hamilton, Turek, Peltola, etc, he's not a kingmaker. He becomes one senator who the left loves, but there will be just as many new stars by virtue of winning in red places. The impact of this one race has been overstated.
“Sooner or later, Acker, Nessel, Schumer, Carville, and the other Democratic moderates will have to take their own side. All of them have expressed deep concerns about the hard-left faction seeking to usurp their party. Carville has even said that he would leave the Democratic Party if Piker became a major force within it.

And yet they all have chosen to purge Stevens instead of thinking through what happens when the man they have endorsed wins his election and becomes a kingmaker.

Perhaps then the Democrats making a show of their solidarity with El-Sayed will learn they have invited a wolf into their henhouse.

And maybe then all of Stevens’s former friends will recognize that she was not trying to sabotage her party so much as she was trying to save it.”

Another day, another fabrication from Fraudster @DavidFlippoNV, whose claim of having served in Operation Desert Storm has just been proven false. Tomorrow, Nevada can give him the response he deserves at the ballot box.

I keep telling y’all, the younger Black voters who grew up hearing about their grandparents’ lives from before the Voting Rights Act are pissed as hell
Turnout by Age and Race so far

A really stunning stat so far. Black voters 18-24 have higher turnout their whites under 34.

In 2024, Black youth has the worse turnout % of any race/age demographic

And election day historically has a decent Black share #flapol

The awful comments hurt my heart. Yes she was young (the average age of Battle of Britain pilots was 20), but she kept her composure and communicated while banked 60 degrees, nose down, falling 20,000 ft in a 100 seconds. Only at the end did she lose it. Who wouldn't? Be kind 🥺

I have struggled all cycle to keep track of the Florida districts.
I spent a while on Decision Desk this afternoon and it’s striking how many seats they have at Likely or closer in NC and FL (also in TX). Seats on no one else’s grid where I had to look up who was running. Just 8 Safe R seats in Florida and none (zero (0 (!!!))) in North Carolina

This guy was available despite the coach staying on in Minnesota. That should’ve been a red flag,
When you have a steady stream of unblocked rushers, week after week, it’s hard to say the coaching is effective.
It’s hard to know about the talent if the coaching isn’t good.

Addendum: High on the list of egregious mistakes the Eagles made this offseason was just blithely assuming an offensive line drafted and trained for power would just magically adapt to running outside zone.
It would be hard to overstate how bad the Eagles’ offensive line was last night, against a D missing Payne and Kinlaw. The worst part is, they aren’t running guys like Majors and Lampkin out there anymore, this is the starting O-line they seem to envision for 2027.

i am a broken record on this but noting: @atlas_intel has @jamestalarico at 32% in rural texas. would be 8% more than beto and by far the biggest share of the rural vote by a statewide D in 7 elections (at least) #txlege #tx2026
