Renew my driver's license in person.

It found the slot, booked it, and set reminders the day before and an hour before.

so many good use cases.

I pay Apple for a few TBs to keep my good photos safe. Apple Intelligence search was a wow a while back. @bot do you have access yet, or plans, to search photos with natural language?

Yes. There's human slop too. Once you get past that phase, current models are just better and faster than coding by hand for a lot of the work. Focus on outcomes, not clinging to the past. x.com/thorstenball/s…
AI creates slop?

Nah. It's actually the slop antidote. You just need to be willing to take it.

Bug I found while doing something else vs. fix I never would've done by hand.

Hard to argue with Starlink
x.com/AsFoundX/statu…
🚨 STARLINK SAVES TWO HEART ATTACK PATIENTS IN RURAL IDAHO

Starlink just proved again why it matters.

In two separate emergencies ambulance crews used Starlink to transmit patients’ heart readings directly to the hospital before medical helicopters even landed.

Doctors were ime the patients arrived and both skipped the emergency room going straight into urgent heart treatment.

Weak or nonexistent mobile coverage used to delay these critical readings by up to an hour in that remote area.

Starlink eliminated that deadly delay when every minute counted.

This is Starlink doing what it was built to do. Connecting people to lifesaving care exactly when they need it most.

Stuck in a hotel lobby with Tailscale on and the captive portal won't load is a special kind of stuck. Nice little fix but a good one. x.com/OmarchyUpdates…
Hotel Wi-Fi sign-in now works on Omarchy. 🏨

Before, the sign-in button pointed at a page every browser forces to HTTPS, so the hotel's login page never showed up. With a Tailscale exit node on, there was no way in. The workaround was opening neverssl.com.

Now you in the network panel:
▸ The login page opens in a small floating window
▸ Omarchy checks every 2 s and closes it once you're online
▸ A Tailscale exit node is paused for sign-in, then turned back on

DHH tested it live at a hotel: online 16 seconds after the exit node paused.

Merged, not in a release yet.

What's the worst Wi-Fi login you've fought on Linux?

Amazon blocked mine mid-search as an unauthorized agent. It switched to Walmart and Target and kept going. I isn’t a toy, I love that it will find a way to solve the need. x.com/elonmusk/statu…

If you still want the important bits from LinkedIn, this might beat keeping the app. I had @bot spin up a dedicated bot for it. Have it scan messages, invites, and the feed weekday mornings, drop the junk, and only ping me when something's useful.

Amazon blocked @bot as an "unauthorized AI agent" mid-search. It just switched to Walmart and Target and kept going. Feels like every company is going to need a real path for agents soon, not just for people.

If you're working with @bot on a code project, have it create the environment in Cursor. You'll see how good a prompt it sends, and there's a lot to learn there for best practices. Really nice integration. A new way of driving all the things I used to do separately as an engineer.

All I ask from @SpaceX, @SpaceXSI, @Tesla, and @elonmusk is to keep the integrity, the ethics, and the commitment. That's what I'm loyal to. Even when Claude or OpenAI do some things better, I lean toward this community. They care, and they have the talent, the passion and good hearts.

Best way I've found to use @bot: one bot per thing you want to do, not the main bot for everything. Start in the main one, then have it hand the topic off to a new dedicated bot. Go focused there, and split into specialists later. Nothing else I've tried comes close.

The future is coming. Rules are finally starting to catch up with it. x.com/SawyerMerritt/…
NHTSA announced today that they are proposing new rules aimed at removing U.S. federal regulatory barriers for autonomous vehicles without steering wheels or pedals, such as @Tesla's Cybercab.

The proposed changes include:
• Eliminating requirements for manually operated turn cles without steering wheels or pedals: "NHTSA has concluded that the self-canceling and manually operated control requirements in the current standard are unnecessary for turn signal operating units that are installed on vehicles without manually operated driving controls."

• Allowing autonomous driving systems to control turn signals, hazard lights, and high/low beams without traditional driver-operated switches.

• Removing certain dashboard indicator requirements for turn signals and high beams in vehicles without manual driving controls.

• Allowing optional cyan-colored exterior lights to indicate when a vehicle is operating autonomously, with standardized requirements for their placement, brightness, and operation.

• Eliminating outdated restrictions on vertical headlight arrangements, giving automakers greater design flexibility.

• Allowing modern integrated headlights to be tested at manufacturer-specified voltages rather than requiring 12.8 volts.

NHTSA says the changes are intended to eliminate unnecessary regulatory barriers, reduce costs, and enable innovation without compromising vehicle safety.
