Hitler: "The entirety (of national socialism) was based on Marx"
Of his 25 point plan, 18 were overtly socialist, with the rest being nationalist.
He was brought to power by socialists to enact socialist policy.
Fascism itself is based on Marx. The young Marxist scholar Mussolini once called Marx "The greatest of all theorists of socialism".
Hitler, building upon Mussolini later said "I have learned a great deal from Marxism, as I do not hesitate to admit... The difference between them and myself is that I have really put into practice what these peddlers and pen-pushers have timidly begun. The entirety of National Socialism is based on it"
Marx himself laid the groundwork for the anti-Semitism we saw in Hitler - the same anti-Semitism we see in the modern Marxist left - when he said "What's the religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What's his worldly God? Money" before prescribing them the guillotine. Incidentally, in an essay of the same title as an essay Hitler cited in Mein Kampf.
If there's a lesson here, it's that you do not elect socialists. You do not believe their lies.
Neither their promises, nor their inevitable bloody exculpations.

Hitler was not a far left fucking socialist. For the love of fucking God.

Once you start to catalogue the people they would have cancelled given the power, you start to realise the kind of desolated world they want to live.
It is my genuine belief that the people who hate Elon enough to say these things are hell-bent on destroying Western civilization, and would have gotten much farther already if not for his commitment to the truth.

@WesternLensman If they want to live by the sword, that is how they will die too

For the Democrat party, and liberalism in general to survive, they need to run their Marxists and lose.
They need to lose so hard that they have no choice but to purge the Marxists from their ranks and reclaim their classical liberal foundations.

Just think of your Red vote as the neutralization of a hostile Blue vote if that makes it psychologically easier.

"Nobody wants owls. We want bacon sandwiches"
*Proceeds to kill all the owls*

Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants data centers in space. Nobody wants humanoid robots or flying cars.
We want clean water. We want a stable climate. We want a habitable planet. We want wildlife to survive. We want to live.

Can someone update the NPC dialogue in this game already?

We will look back on games from today the way we look back at pong.
You simply won't be developing games on "base programming languages". Aside from niche/retro games, you won't be manually retopologising, or manually populating your MMORPG with an ecosystem. Gone are the yearly
Most games people play will be games *within* a guided, directed but fully generative world.
If you enjoy posting about AI use in games, make the most of it, because soon it will be 100% of all games that are using AI in some capacity.
On platforms that use AI. Shared on social graphs that use AI. To customers that use AI.

Devs should disclose AI use for the same reason I want to know if the eggs I buy are free range or battery hens.

This is a good encapsulation of George's cognitive dissonance.
He believes he could code with AI as well as a coder could code with AI.
Which highlights the fact that he believes amateurs with AI pose a credible threat to his illustration career.
He's wrong, of course. You cannot replace George, or his vision and personality any more than you could replace a competent and creative game or systems designer.

"You're against AI art, but what about coding?"
I'm not a coder, but let me put it this way: If I was working with a coder and he used AI, I would be asking what I'm paying him for when I could do that myself.
If pay for passion and expertise, I expect passion and expertise.
Likewise if someone pays me for art, they will be getting my total professional attention, built on the foundation of decades of practice.

George is very careful to not say "won't use AI in coding my games"
In my experience working with creatives on integrating AI into their workflows, everyone believes THEIR domain is the critical one, while all others can be automated to help bring their vision to life.
In every case, they're right. The human vision is the primary mover.

As a solo creator trying to learn to make games, I vow to never use AI generation in my art, even if every other developer in the world is doing it.
Customers have the right to make informed purchasing decisions, just like with age ratings or DRM.

Coming out as believing that cutting automotive deaths, moving the planet to renewable energy, giving internet to the entire planet, restarting the space age, and giving quadriplegics literal telekinesis doesn't make you a villain.
Yes even if you think males are not females.

Elon Musk’s daughter coming out at transgender is his villain origin story.

I'm gradually learning that when people say "I hate capitalism" what they mean is "I hate my job".
Of course, people are free to pool their money and go start a commune. Communism runs fine on the capitalism operating system.
But then they would have to leave capitalism. And they would never abandon their caramel lattes, Ubers and iPhones.

Capitalism is supposedly collapsing. The Soviet Union actually collapsed. Somehow capitalism is still the one being asked to explain itself.

This news is basically "AI made PHP more secure ahead of hackers finding and exploiting these issues"
There is nothing to worry about.
Nothing important is run on PHP or old software—except the water & electrical grid, a few government services like our missile defense systems and a handful of electrified fences at the zoo (for the lions, tigers and cobras).

The left knows that their rhetoric of opening the borders & globalising the intifada has imported foreign and enlisted domestic terrorists.
Their only hope of avoiding retribution at this point is to double down. Deny, censor, cancel, while building up alliances with the enemy.

Wow! Australia’s biggest news website news.com.au has just posted this on their Facebook page.
