Our bi-annual roadmap update is here.
H1 2026 highlights: stack-too-deep is fixed in the SSA-CFG pipeline (under --experimental), debugging infrastructure work has ramped up significantly, and both act and Fe shipped their first releases after extensive rewrites.

🫣 ✍️ Blind signing is still one of Ethereum's biggest UX and security problems!
@kaanuzdogan of @SourcifyEth shows how ERC-7730 turns transactions into something people can read, and how wallets can add it with Sourcify's clear signing SDK.

Looking forward to share the progress we made with ERC7730 Clear Signing in Mumbai next week!
Goodbye, YOLO signing.
@kaanuzdogan builds @SourcifyEth at @argotorg, so the contracts you interact with can be checked against their source. He brings "Goodbye YOLO Signing" to the Devcon 8 Security track.

Sourcify has a new look 💅
Sourcify has been shipping so much throughout the last year and their upgraded website finally reflects that.
Check if out yourself ↓

Want to try Core Solidity hands-on?
@_czepluch will run a code-along workshop at @EFDevcon. You leave with a working Core Solidity smart contract and a direct line to the people building the language.
Nov 5, 12:00 to 12:50 IST, Workshop 1. Bring a laptop.

New frontend, same backend
Core Solidity is a new frontend for solc. It lowers to Yul and shares the optimizer and code generator with @solidity_lang today, so backend work on stack-too-deep and compile times helps both.

New @solidity_lang release just dropped
Solidity v0.8.38 is out.
This release fixes a low-severity bug in the Yul optimizer, speeds up the Yul optimizer, and warns about identifiers in Yul and inline assembly that are going to be reserved starting from the Amsterdam EVM version.

Did you know Sourcify is maintaining the largest 4byte DB with over 10M signatures?

A lot of interesting things are happening in Core Solidity right now.
Read the blog post to see where the language stands right now, and try the playground.
Most importantly, if you have any feedback, reach out to me. I'd love to hear it or give you an in-depth demo.

Where is Core Solidity at today?
The @solidity_lang team's new post covers what works in the prototype, what is still missing, and what 18 interviews with developers, auditors and tool builders taught us.
Give it a read now!
