@mtgreenee nails it. Dude is nothing more than a "curse" to every sane person in the USA. If morons has only looked into his history of failures; his pathological lying; his malignant narcissism; and the fact he doesn't give a s!@# about anyone but himself.
He has no idea how bad he is doing in GA. And to threaten our state that he would refuse to help the good people of Georgia just because he doesn’t like who calls him shows how much he really doesn’t care.
Trump has become a curse to Republican candidates and it will be worse in ‘28.

NEW: Trump admin's bid to get appeals court to force segregation of mail-in ballots from 20K suspected foreigners in CA seems in trouble three ways to Sunday, including with at least 1 and probably 2 Trump appointed judges. w/@kyledcheney @lindseymholden politico.com/news/2026/10/2…

Trump is destroying the future of young Americans while he flies all over the country telling rally goers “we are making so much money off oil” while gas and diesel is at all time highs and he’s pervertedly lusting after a woman’s “ass” at a rally.
And his team thinks it’s funny.
0% of registered voters ages 18-29 said they strongly approve of the way Trump’s handled the cost of living in the latest NYT/Siena poll.

Any experienced appellate attorney listening to the oral argument knows that Trump's DOJ is getting crushed. 0% chance 9th Cir. grants Trump's sequestration request. Back to Judge Carter to have PI request DENIED. States decide on "time, place & manner" of federal elections.
UPDATE: So far, 9th Circuit argument is going poorly for Trump admin. Caveat that we are only about 20 minutes in, but Trump appointee Bennett and Biden appointee Sanchez sound highly dubious of timing and substance of DOJ's demand for appeals court action.

The Trump Administration’s “doomsday scenarios” are a transparent attempt to lay the groundwork for more attempts at election interference.

Here’s what’s really happening: President Trump is historically unpopular and he’s facing massive election losses nationwide.

Instead of working for the American people, he’s seeding excuses and sowing discord.

It’s un-American and un-democratic, and we won’t stand for it.
Todd Blanche won't rule out trying to block states from certifying their midterm results.

Asked whether the Trump DOJ might try to block a state from certifying results, Blanche said: "Yes. Of course there are scenarios that we could all come up with hypothetically. Some doomsday scenario, for example."

💯% Trump loses again. This time before a 3 judge panel with 2 Trump-appointed judges. Trump's DOJ atty was atrocious. He wasn't even aware of a major, highly-relevant, case cited by one of the Trump-appointed judges. No ethical, competent, atty would work for Trump.
The Trump administration is trying to block more than 20,000 ballots in California, citing a list of “likely” noncitizens with no clear explanation of where it came from.

On Sunday, a federal appeals court sounded deeply skeptical. Here’s what happened:

If you watched, it was obvious Trump will lose, just like he lost 60+ frivolous cases after Biden kicked his butt. Trump's DOJ atty was pitiful. He wasn't even aware of a major election law case cited by Trump-appointed Judge Bennett. But no competent atty would work for Trump.
Here is the TLDR of the 9th Circuit hearing:

DOJ will lose.

It will be either 2-1 or 3-0.

It will be on jurisdiction and perhaps on the merits.

The argument was a debacle for Trump and the DOJ lawyer who argued it.

Watch for details. youtube.com/live/EsuYPbmWn…

As is always the case: Trump/Trump-controlled DOJ is throwing as much s!@# at the Art. III wall and hoping something sticks. As I stated in my pinned post: 0% chance Trump wins at 9th Cir. with two Trump-appointed judges on the panel. And SCOTUS won't get involved.
More evidence of DOJ's haphazard approach to these last-ditch cases:

A few minutes ago, a DOJ attorney told the 9th circuit that Judge Carter has *no jurisdiction* to consider this case anymore since it's now in the hands of the appeals court.

Also a few minutes ago: DOJ files asking him to approve their injunction. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…

Trump says out loud what we all know. Americans pay and the Trump family profits.

And you know what, he does not “give a damn”.
TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

We are making the oil oligarchs rich. We are making Trump and his cronies rich. It is literally at our expense every day. There’s no trickling down happening. And Trump is bragging about it knowing nobody in the Republican Party will stand up to him and say enough.

Yep. Trump and his billionaire buddies are making a fortune as the vast majority of hardworking Americans are struggling to get by financially because of Trump's War & Tariffs. Imagine being one of those Americans and supporting this grifter.

This Forbes investigation is a must-read.

Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million.

He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort.

A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill.

Alaskans don’t need any help voting for their preferred candidates, and the State of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year’s ballot. The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit.

Just like the lead up to Trump's inciting the Insurrection on J6, this is the first of many lawsuits to come. After they fail. And after other non-violent methods fail. Same game plan as his attempt to prevent the peaceful transfer of power: Violence.
NEW: DOJ is suing to prevent Alaska from certifying its election results until the state investigates whether the other "Dan Sullivan" on the ballot created "voter confusion" to the detriment of incumbent GOP Sen. Dan Sullivan.

Listen very carefully to what Prof. Nelson states: We are in, and heading into even greater, dangerous times with Trump as POTUS armed with the SCOTUS's interpretation of unitary executive theory without concern for the dire consequences when wielded by a bad faith actor: Trump.
I talk to Caleb Nelson about his criticisms of Slaughter in his article the “Dictatorial Presidency.” "So my criticism is partly about timing. Even if you think there’s a stronger case for unitary executive theory than I do, this is an extraordinarily dangerous time, I think, for the Supreme Court to upend precedent and to move in that direction. And my criticism is also about history. Chief Justice Roberts keeps repeating claims about the First Congress that I’m pretty sure aren’t true and that scholars have, I think, debunked."
