Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.

Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: nasa.gov/artemis-ii-mul…

A viral post claims something outrageous happened with an election.

Before you repost, ask:

WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE?

Not a screenshot. Not a guy overseas with a blue check yelling into a camera.

Actual evidence.

Reminder: don't let domestic & foreign psyops manipulate you.

It is so refreshing to hear a NASA administrator address issues that have long been these huge elephants in the room, like Orion's inability to reach low-lunar orbit. Everyone knew it was an issue, but no one did anything about it for 15 years. Finally, it's being addressed.

I'm on board for this. Evidence my brain needs something off screen.
Your phone should automatically lock you out for 10 minutes if you close an app and then reopen it 4 seconds later because you forgot why you opened it

Rest in peace, Nick Wray.

Nick was Neuralink participant P8, the 8th person in the world to receive the implant.

He lived with ALS for four and a half years and passed away on August 2, 2026, at 44.

With his implant, he used his phone, his laptop, and played video games just mily wrote that he considered Neuralink and his contribution to the knowledge of the human brain to be his purpose.

He was also a drummer, a barista and manager at Grounds for Thought, fluent in French, and a lover of Aruba and good coffee.

Thank you, Nick. What you gave will help every patient who comes after you.

Prayers and love to Alexia, his parents, his siblings, and all who miss him.

If you want a sneak peek into how we’re thinking about agents (the boring useful kinds for businesses) then this is a must watch.

We bet big on Durable Objects and its proven to have been the right decision given the non-stop discourse around them at Connect.
Agents that run for hours can't afford to lose their place.

Standard Agents gives every conversation its own Durable Object and database. At Cloudflare Connect, co-founder and CTO @jpschroeder shows how it works:

- One database per conversation, because agents reread their full Alarms kick off long work, and a watchdog object tracks progress so agents keep running for hours
- A live demo where every attendee who scanned in got their own expense agent

Strong automated intelligence is still somewhat expensive but the prices just keeps dropping and models keep getting optimized and improved.
Claude Sonnet 5.5 from @AnthropicAI on ARC-AGI (Verified):

- ARC-AGI-3: 72.4%, $8.2K (provider adapter harness), 24.3%, $7.4K (standard harness)
- ARC-AGI-2: 83.9%, $0.55/task
- ARC-AGI-1: 96.5%, $0.14/task

Sonnet 5.5 is notable for its 72.4% score on ARC-AGI-3.

Sydney Sweeney votes in California! 😆

BRILLIANT ad by the Prop 39 campaign. Common sense is on the ballot in this election—and not just in the governor's race.

YES on Voter ID!

@tomwookieford @tomwookiefordw things that we can’t do in production. The cold gas system can produce over 80kN of force. If everything weighs even a ridiculously high 2500 kg with the mass of gas plus the thruster system, the lift from the thrusters is >3x the mass of the vehicle. When you have more lift than mass, you can get off the ground, when it’s that much more over time you have spare air to flip and manuever - simple math really….

The cause of polysemanticity in early model organisms wasn’t superposition, but several ordinary, mostly fixable issues. We can now understand most neurons in models up to trillions of parameters, and think the outlook for mechanistic interpretability may be far better than we thought.

"I mean that a network’s parts are built to be read, and built upon, by its downstream readers. In this sense, a neural network is almost a fractal of explanations, of coherent, useful groupings: at the macro scale, in its mechanisms, and at the micro scale, where recursive generalization shapes each one. That points to a goal for interpretability: become another reader."

"What a Solution Might Look Like"

"We usually imagine ambitious interpretability as an incredibly hard problem, maybe too hard to solve in time to matter. What if it isn’t? The network is enormous, but it may already have done almost all the work of preparing itself to be understood, not for us, but for its own readers. If we can become another reader, it’s ready for us too."

The first multi-spacecraft science mission to Mars is about to make its big move.

Next month, Blue and Gold – the twin spacecraft we built for @NASA and @ucbssl – will swing close past Earth and each fire their main engine in a single, continuous burn, using Earth's gravity to y set course for Mars. It's a maneuver that's never been successfully done before.

Our mission ops team is in full rehearsal mode for @escapade_mars' trans-Mars injection.
