Must suck to lose to “an absolute stain.”

What does that make Miami?
@YankeesFiles I am from Miami, one of my best friends went there, and Notre Dame is an absolute stain on the college football landscape. They're a T10 ranked tm to start every year, they lose 3 games to Boston College et all every year, rinse and repeat.

This is the guy who said MY roster was bad?
I tried to be realistic about how the Yankees can upgrade for 2027 but this probably won't happen

Joey Votto is not making Jorge Posada feel welcome
@YankeesFiles Joey Votto just made the accountability list

@YankeesFiles In an era when the average player struck out 13.9% of the time, Reggie Jackson struck out 22.7% of the time. He averaged 149 Ks per 162 games. He’s still the all-time leader in Ks. He had a career 262 BA, 356 OBP.
He is the basis for the modern hitter.

@YankeesFiles Babe Ruth was the first dude to sell out to hit homers

In 1918 he led the majors in strikeouts despite not even qualifying for the batting title

In that season he struck out 3 more times than Joe Dugan, who had 67 more PA

Babe Ruth became the career leader in strikeouts in 1928. He held that distinction until 1964. He struck out more than anyone ever had, and more than anyone did for almost four decades.
Well to be fair, Babe Ruth didn't strikeout 120-180 times a year & hit .240 like these sellout bums of today.

50% of Babe Ruth hits were singles & never struckout 100 times in a season in his life

Even Babe knew there were times to take what the pitcher is giving based on the situation in the game.

Lifetime .342 hitter over 22 seasons

Hitting has gotten progressively worse year after year.

And you'd platoon Nootbaar so you don't need him to play a billion games

The reactions to this post are legitimately hilarious. This team is really good, and I was extremely conservative in FA spending.
Just do this

People forget Heliot Ramos had a .341 xwOBA and 11% walk rate after joining the Yankees.
