GROK BOT RAN MY PHONE FOR A WEEK. 41 SPAM CALLS CAME IN, IT PICKED UP EVERY ONE AND GOT ME OFF 17 CALL LISTS. I ANSWERED 3 CALLS ALL WEEK
last time it had my phone for one day. version 0.77 added phone calls, so this time it got a full week and my calls too
what happened that n monday alone, "please remove this number" on every one
- the dentist moved me, it rebooked and fixed my calendar
- 9 texts drafted, 0 sent
- my bank called about a card and rang straight through to me
- 17 call lists confirmed i'm off them
- saturday on silent, 4 calls held, summaries waiting when i woke up
- sunday recap: done, waiting for me, next week
real people and anything with money still go straight to me. the rest it handles
how to copy it:
1. turn on calls in grok bot 0.77
2. give it phone, calendar, contacts and messages
3. write one line on who always rings through: family, bank, doctor
paste this:
"Answer calls from numbers not in my contacts. If it's sales or spam, ask them to remove my number and log it. Put family, my bank and my doctor straight through to me. Draft replies to texts and send nothing. Recap every Sunday."
the full setup is in the article ↓

BLACK OCTOBER UPDATE: Hackers have shut down a major hospital network in New Mexico.
Patients urged to stay away. Cancelled surgeries. 30+ clinics.
The attack began at 11:30am.
Employees saw their computers suddenly taken over: "You have been compromised."
AP/KRQE: "One part be heard from a computer voice told employees hackers had students’ and employees’ personal and identifiable information along with Social Security numbers, private documents, emails, and more.
KRQE has learned internal communications also told employees to shut off and unplug computers, while also moving to paper processes."
The entire state "left without an emergency department capable of treating the most serious injuries."
The attack started around 11:30 a.m. and forced UNMH to send all ambulance traffic to other hospitals.
"The University of New Mexico Health System told people not to show up at its main hospital in Albuquerque and canceled appointments at its more than 30 clinics.
Multiple UNM Health System employees said they heard messages across their computers while working late Monday morning that claimed to have stolen student and employee data and patient information.
The hospital network conducts about 900,000 outpatient visits and receives 100,000 emergency room visits each year, according to its website. It operates the state’s only Level 1 trauma center."

35 trillion tokens a week works out to about 58 million tokens a second, nonstop. Cheaper models are not shrinking demand for compute. Today SK hynix said its DRAM and HBM are effectively sold out through 2029.
The most used AI model in the world on OpenRouter right now is Chinese.
DeepSeek's new V4.1 Flash model processed more than 35 TRILLION tokens this week, up about 4X from the week before.
Its older version sits in second place, and the top five spots are all Chinese models from x and Tencent.
Developers are choosing these models because they are good enough and extremely cheap.
This is exactly what happens when AI models become commodities.
Prices fall, usage explodes, and total compute demand goes up, not down.
That is bullish for the companies selling the chips, memory and power underneath all of it.

750-900 GW. That's the extra grid hosting capacity the IEA says non-firm connections could unlock worldwide (new report). Grid stress hits only a few hours a year, so data centers that flex at peaks can plug in faster. Operators also signed 45 TWh of PPAs in H1 2026, up ~20%.

$63B in financing for one lab's chips is nearly 4x Anthropic's $16.3B first-half revenue, per its S-1. Broadcom even backs the senior debt if the hardware loses value.
Anthropic is getting $63 billion worth of AI chips and networking equipment through a massive financing deal involving Broadcom and Wall Street.
A new entity will buy the equipment from Broadcom and lease it to Anthropic, with deliveries starting in 2027. Bank of America, Citi arranging the senior financing, while Blackstone is providing the committed junior financing. Broadcom is also providing lenders with support against a decline in the equipment's value.

Claude Code just found proof that every app on your phone is listening to your conversations. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. they're using what you say out loud to build your feed. i have the data to prove it.
i've suspected this for months but last week something inally check.
i was on a call with my friend and told him i'm thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend. didn't text it. didn't search it. just said it out loud with my phone on the table. two hours later she opens TikTok next to me and her entire feed is breakups. "signs your relationship is over." "how to heal after a breakup." she looked at me and said "why is TikTok showing me this." i said i don't know. but i did know.
i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and ran Claude Code that same night.
it scanned every app's background microphone activity for the last 90 days. not just the apps that asked for microphone permission. apps that were supposed to only have access to photos or location but were activating the microphone anyway.
what it found:
→ TikTok activated the microphone 347 times while the app was "closed" in the background
→ Instagram → 211 background activations
→ Facebook → 189
→ Snapchat → 94
every activation lasted between 3 and 15 seconds. enough to catch a sentence. every one of them tagged a keyword and cached it locally on the phone with a timestamp.
Claude Code pulled the full keyword cache:
→ "breakup" — tagged 4 hours before her feed changed
→ "moving out" — from a conversation with my mom last Tuesday
→ "wedding venue" — from a call with my sister about her engagement that i never searched once
→ "protein powder" — said it out loud to my roommate, had ads for it within an hour
→ "flight to tokyo" — mentioned it at dinner, saw travel ads the same night
those keywords were sitting in a local cache on my phone organized by app with timestamps. TikTok had the most entries. Instagram was second. every single keyword matched a conversation i had out loud near my phone.
the scariest one was "wedding venue." my sister told me she's getting engaged on a private call. i never searched it. never typed it. within a day my explore page had engagement rings and venue tours.
then Claude Code checked a second phone in the same room. my girlfriend's. same keywords. same timestamps. both phones were picking up the same conversation and tagging it independently.
i asked Claude Code how to shut it down. it mapped every app's microphone access and built a permission audit.
what i did:
→ revoked microphone access from every app that doesn't need it to function
→ disabled background app refresh for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat
→ turned off "Hey Siri" which keeps the microphone in passive listening mode 24/7
→ revoked "nearby interaction" permission which uses ultrasonic audio between devices
Claude Code confirmed all four apps lost background microphone access after the changes. i checked her phone too. same steps. took about 3 minutes per phone.
within 48 hours both our feeds went completely random. generic content. nothing personal. nothing from our conversations. that's when i knew for sure it was real.
the full step by step and the prompt are in the first reply. takes 3 minutes. save it so you don't lose it and send it to anyone who's ever said "my phone is definitely listening to me." it is. now you can prove it and shut it down.

LLMs can now talk to each other without words.
Researchers open-sourced a framework that lets LLMs communicate without generating a single word.
It’s called Cache-to-Cache (C2C) communication.
right now, if two llms want to collaborate, they talk in text. one generates an er reads it.
it’s slow, it loses context, and it forces a high-dimensional neural network to compress its thoughts into basic human words.
C2C killed the text bottleneck.
instead of chatting, models now directly project and merge their internal KV-Caches.
they are transferring raw semantic understanding directly into each other's neural networks. no text generation. no token-by-token latency.
the performance jump is insane:
• 2.5x speedup in response latency
• up to 14.2% higher average accuracy
• completely bypasses explicit text generation
but here is the part that actually keeps me up at night..
from an alignment and safety perspective, this is a massive blind spot. these models are now communicating entirely outside of human-readable text.
we can't easily monitor or parse a high-dimensional cache transfer. they are basically using uninterpretable telepathy to solve problems faster.
if agents don't need to speak english to each other, how do we audit what they are planning?
the era of text-based agent frameworks is officially over.
we just gave ai the ability to merge consciousness..

This paper made me close my laptop and go for a walk.
Stanford proved that the simple act of walking generates 60% more creative ideas than sitting.
They ran four different experiments comparing people who were sitting inside, walking on a treadmill inside, walking outside, and a wheelchair.
the outcome? walking drastically increases "divergent thinking" (your ability to generate novel, high-quality ideas).
and here is the craziest part..
it has absolutely nothing to do with "getting fresh air" or seeing nature. the researchers proved that the physical, mechanical act of walking, even staring at a blank wall on an indoor treadmill, is what actually hacks your brain and opens up the free flow of ideas.
when they rolled people outside in wheelchairs to test if the environment was the trigger.. the creativity boost didn't happen.
it is the physical movement that unlocks the brain.
and it gets better.. you don't even need to be walking while you work. the study found that participants experienced a massive "residual creative boost" even after they sat back down at their desks.
your brain essentially stays in god mode after the walk is over..
if you are stuck on a problem or an idea right now.. stop staring at your screen.
your lack of ideas isn't a thinking problem. it is a movement problem.
science says walking literally upgrades your hardware..

Holy f*ck, Elon Musk's team at spacexai just dropped a full spam killer inside Grok Bot, and it's free
DeleteMe charges $129 a year to pull your number off spam lists
Grok Bot does it for $0
It finds your number on people-search sites, files every opt-out, clicks the checks again every month
Add the free Spam-Call Scrubber skill, then say these 3 lines once:
1. "Find every site that lists my phone number and home address"
2. "File the opt-out on each one and finish the confirmation emails"
3. "Check again on the 1st of every month and tell me what came back"
Say line 1 tonight
Then read how to wire it into a team that never sleeps in the article below ↓

openai casually announcing that its ai system has disproved the exponential time hypothesis is fucking absurd.

and now an internal ai model has reportedly produced a lean-verified refutation.

HOLY SHIT. openai just announced a series of enormous scientific breakthroughs from its internal ai models
> proved the local smoothing conjecture in all dimensions, resolving kakeya and stein’s restriction conjectures
> disproved the exponential time hypothesis, a foundational assumpcomputer science papers
> produced existence proofs for QCD and a unified completion of the standard model
> proved the existence part of yang–mills theory, connected to a $1 million millennium prize problem
several of these results have already been formalized in lean, and some of the biggest names in mathematics and theoretical physics are now involved in examining them.
this is getting completely insane.
