Millersburg has its post office back after the 2022 fire.

With no residential mail delivery, the post office in the center of town is how folks get their mail, see their neighbors and stay connected.

It took years of calls and persistence from local advocates and my office, celebrated at the ribbon cutting today with Mayor Hopkins, Community Ventures and @USPS. Congratulations Millersburg!

I strongly supported this funding through a letter of support to DOT and personally brought @SecDuffy to Kentucky earlier this year to discuss our regional transportation needs. Congratulations to RJ Corman Railroad Group!

Today, I joined @USComptroller and leaders from coal, firearms, and faith-based organizations to expose politically motivated debanking brought on by Obama/Biden financial regulators and fight to end it.

We need to save Kentucky’s hemp industry and protect the farmers who built it. I’m leading the charge to establish clear rules of the road, protect consumers, and keep hemp products out of the hands of children.

Major win for our Central Kentucky Fire Departments. I’m announcing a $190,476 FEMA grant for fire departments serving Versailles, Anderson County, and Frankfort to purchase a new mobile cascade trailer. This will allow firefighters to refill their breathing packs while on calls.

China will import at least 10 million metric tons of U.S. coal in 2027 and 2028. I led the push with the WH to prioritize U.S. coal exports with China.

This week’s summit between President Trump and General Secretary Xi represents an important opportunity to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for providing Iran with satellite data it used to target the American military in the Middle East, buying Iranian oil and selling semiconductors used in Iranian weapons. It also represents an opportunity to reinforce deterrence in the Western Pacific by standing by the $11.1 billion in arms sales to Taiwan announced by the Trump Administration in 2025 and not backing off the additional $14 billion in arms sales to Taiwan presently under consideration.
