Cheyenne Jackson has launched the "One Job Away" campaign on Instagram, which spotlights actors on the verge of losing their SAG-AFTRA health insurance if they don't meet the guild's annual minimum of $28,000 in earnings.
• Jackson received "hundreds" of submissions in the less nching the campaign.
• Last year, Jackson was "one gig short of getting my insurance." He reached out to friend Kathy Bates to see if she could get him any role on "Matlock" because he was just $6,000 away from meeting the guild's minimum to qualify for health insurance.
• “She told me, ‘I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is, I got you a role on “Matlock.” The bad news is, you have five lines and you don’t have a name.’ I was like, ‘Sign me up! No ego amigo here.’ I played no-name detective. I searched a crime scene and I said, ‘Hey, Sergeant, we got some blood over here.’”
• Jackson tells Variety: "The bigger conversation is just the way that residuals and SAG are set up. I make OK money on residuals, but a lot of that residual does not go toward your SAG dues. You’re essentially starting over every year. An actor can make $500,000 one year, but when they don’t make much the next year, the $500,000 doesn’t help with the following year’s health insurance minimum.”

When people ask w/ scorn in their voice ‘why are there so many Africans in Belgium’
This demon king & his atrocities in Africa is always my answer
This demon king & his atrocities in Africa is always my answer
King Leopold II is not demonized like Hitler because his victims were Black Africans — and Black lives have never mattered to the people who built their wealth on our suffering.
He killed over 20 million innocent Congolese, and oversaw a regime that amputated the hands of eopold was even buried in a Catholic church.
Even worse, Europe still honors this colonial monster with monuments, while his African victims are forgotten.
Imagine an African leader doing this to 20 million Europeans.
Would the world ever let them forget ?
Western hypocrisy is absolutely disgusting.

Found a way to launder some stolen taxpayer money I see
BREAKING: President Trump reveals his new anti-fraud program set up to reward people who expose fraud with a 1% commission on the money uncovered.
"If you turn somebody in and you, let's say report and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%."Community noteDOJ's published guidance caps individual whistleblower rewards at up to $30,000 per tip, not an uncapped 1% of fraud uncovered, with a total program fund of $25 million. A $1 billion fraud tip would not yield a $10 million payout under the official program rules. newsweek.com/trump-vance-of… foxnews.com/politics/trump…

This admin recently stripped away the ability from Americans to borrow enough student loan money to get a nursing degree
& now they’re whining about their own actions & the crisis they’ve caused?

RFK Jr. warns that a nationwide shortage of more than 50,000 nurses has become a healthcare crisis, hitting rural America especially hard.
Now, HHS is taking action to address the shortage and strengthen healthcare in underserved communities.
“Nurses here in Virginia, there is es.”
“Across the country, it’s over 50,000.”
“It is a genuine health crisis, particularly in rural areas.”
“It’s a priority for the president. We’re addressing it.”
“You’re going to hear a series of announcements over the next couple of weeks, but we’re already addressing this through expanded rural residencies and federally qualified health centers.”

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
