Over the past week, Loopscale has been targeted in a sustained campaign by a sophisticated actor, with the protocol APIs receiving more than 30,000 malicious requests per day. All deposited user funds are secured.
Earlier, our security systems detected a significant escalation in the campaign, and we promptly acted to pause protocol activity to mitigate impact. The attack attempts targeted the SOL and USDC Genesis Vaults. Affected vaults have been made whole and no user deposits have incurred a loss.
The protocol will not resume normal operations until we have established the complete scope of the campaign and implemented further security hardening. We will be re-enabling the protocol interface shortly and are working to resume repayment functionality as soon as possible to mitigate unforeseen liquidations.

October has set another record for the Sentinel Network, with 8,536,405 encrypted dVPN sessions, the highest monthly total in Sentinel's history.
The network also recorded 111,747 unique users during October, making it the third-highest month for user activity in 2026.
With ique users, record-breaking session activity, and multiple independently developed dVPN applications, Sentinel is entering the final months of 2026 with substantial consumer adoption and growing demand for decentralized bandwidth infrastructure.
The timing is particularly significant as Sentinel prepares to migrate from Cosmos to Solana, with the Solana devnet coming this week.
Sentinel's existing network is already supporting millions of encrypted connections every month through independently operated nodes and applications serving users worldwide. The move to Solana will connect that established infrastructure and consumer demand with a much larger ecosystem of developers, applications, payments, and on-chain services.
