One is my wife’s friend who I’ve known for 10+ years now. She “hates men” and is vocal about that in front of me when my wife and I see her. She was insufferable during the MeToo era. She’s 40 now and gets sad when my wife shows her pictures of our toddler.
I know no fewer than 4 women this is currently happening to.

Idk man this is probably 500x more effective at winning the “black vote” (a useless endeavor btw) than some homo dweeb from the Democratic party going to a gas station and pretending to like the fried chicken or whatever 😹
President Trump in Michigan: "By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before: Nicki Minaj. That's hard to miss. Stand up. That's hard to miss."

There has never been a socialist country where the working class has been empowered. It always just ends up consolidating power into the hands of those who get to decide who gets what based on "need", and they inevitably decide they and their friends "need" more.
Socialism isnt just the government handing out free stuff. It’s taking the factories, the land, and the power away from the billionaires and giving it to the working class.

Alec Pecstone, a WW2 veteran who died at the age of 101 left his last message to the country
"It wasn't worth it"
He saw what happened to our country and realised the whole thing was for nothing
We must take our country back for Alex and many others

I was working retail when Obamacare started. It mandated every large company would have to pay for health insurance for its full time workers. So I got my hours cut, and was told I could never work over time and didn’t get health insurance.

Brazil has repeatedly tried to clear out favelas and replace them with everything from middle-class neighborhoods to taxpayer-subsidized social housing.
What happens every single time is that the affordable housing projects morph back into favelas within a few years, and when the government moves people out entirely and relocates them to new neighborhoods, the relocation sites themselves eventually turn into favelas.
This has been going on since the late 1960s, yet every decade or so, government officials have this idea that favelas are just a product of poverty, when in reality they're a product of the people who live within them.
It's like that meme video we've all seen of a beaver still trying to build a dam in someone's hallway using stuffed animals and cardboard boxes. You can take a man out of the favelas, but you can't take the favela out of the man.

Fun fact: I was inspired to write "Why We Need to Talk about the Right's Stupidity Problem" by an interaction with Parvini.
