If Freedom of Movement is restored it will not mean 500m EU citizens will rush to the UK.

Have the whole populations of Bucharest or Warsaw moved to Paris or Milan?

Brexit supporters need to get over themselves...

The UK had lower immigration before Brexit when it had EU Freedom of Movement.

Farage is to blame for the record high immigration.

By @josiahmortimer

Exclusive: The councillor who suggested there was strong support for private security patrols told a committee to “take our word for it”. So we got the receipts

Food for thought, if Ryan Bridge, currently held under house arrest in Somalia doesn't get home in time for his court appearances next week he has a problem. Firstly Brighton Mags will issue a Fail to Appear Warrant, and he will be arrested when he lands. If he fails to appear at to stop him raising flags in Brum, the plaintiff will present their evidence and the court can pass an ex parte judgment against him. They won't hear his defence, he'll still have court and legal costs. Either way he's fooked. It's great...🤣

Nigel Farage will never be Prime Minister.

He's just in it for the cash and has never actually wanted the responsibility.

🚨 THIS IS A POLITICAL WATERSHED

Former chancellor Rachel Reeves has declared:

“Britain’s future lies in the European Union.”

Reeves helped write Labour’s 2024 manifesto, which ruled out EU membership. She now says Brexit has made Britain “poorer, weaker and less secure” and y Burnham’s leadership in reopening the debate.

Full EU membership is now one of the options being considered by the prime minister, alongside the Single Market and Customs Union.

This is no longer a fringe chat. It is taking place at the very top of government, ahead of the crucial UK–EU summit on November 20.

Britain cannot repair the damage of Brexit through tiny technical adjustments. We need the courage to confront what Brexit has done to our economy, security, food system and international influence.

The argument for rejoining has begun and this time we must win it. 🇬🇧🇪🇺

🇪🇺 🇬🇧 Support for rejoining Europe continues to grow, while support for staying out is shrinking even faster proportionately.

Or to put it another way

🇬🇧 🇪🇺 Rejoin is growing. Stay Out is shrinking. And proportionately, the Brexit side is shrinking faster.
New from @Ipsos_in_the_UK

How would you vote if there was a referendum on the UK applying to join the EU?

Should apply to join 56%
Should stay out 30%

Since Brexit everyone in the UK is on average £11,400 worse off.

Except Nigel Farage.

He received £5 million as a reward for Brexit.

And yet people accuse Question Time of being “A lefty show”

@bbcquestiontime this is embarrassing I’m afraid

Thanks Don 👍

😧 Is this one of Reform’s biggest internal contradictions???

They want to cut around £50bn from working-age welfare. But many of the communities where Reform is strongest also have high numbers of people receiving disability and other benefits.

The easy bit is shouting “cut welfare”.

The hard bit is telling your own voters exactly whose income you intend to cut.
"They've promised to cut... the welfare bill, but the unfortunate truth is, Reform voters are more likely to be on benefits."

Lara Brown of the Spectator says Robert Jenrick and Reform UK have a "serious problem" with their plan to cut benefits.

In 2016, 48% wanted to stay in, 52% wanted to leave

2026 polling, 56% want to join the EU, 30% don't

Tell me again how Russian interference and social media abuse with bots, and leave breaking electoral law, didn't play a part in 2016 bour MP who doesn't make the case for rejoining the EU
