Just a little bit more economic pain. It's right around the corner. They will give us everything we want. The people will overthrow the IRGC this time for real. It's basically over, we just need to cripple them a bit harder. Just one more IRGC shell company. Just one more tanker. They want to make a deal soooooo bad. Gas prices are going to plummet. We aren't even at war if you think about it.
🚨CIA Director John Ratcliffe is advising Trump to maintain the "no war, no deal" status quo and allow the economic pressure campaign to continue, sources said
🚨Ratcliffe told Trump that prolonged economic pain will induce Iran to make more concessions — or create enough instability inside the country that citizens revolt

BREAKING: Just as a glimmer of hope emerges between the US and Iran, someone starts bombing Iranian radar sites. I suspect Israel.

I posted a few days ago that a glimmer of hope had emerged in the US-Iran talks mediated by Qatar. Over the past few days, progress has increased to the point that sources and officials on all sides have privately expressed a degree of optimism, and both JD Vance and Trump himself did so publicly just a few hours ago.

Then, suddenly, things started to blow up on the Iranian island of Qeshm, as well as near the cities of Bandar Abbas and Ahvaz in southern Iran.

The Iranians tell me that they are certain the attacks were conducted by Israel, and not the US. A senior US source tells me it wasn’t the American side.

I posted last weekend that Israel had breached Iranian airspace. Tehran, however, opted not to respond, suspecting that Israel wanted to goad Iran into a trap by responding harshly, as that could help Netanyahu in the elections and force Trump’s hand in terms of turning to war.

It would be completely in line with a decades-long pattern of Israeli sabotage of US-Iran diplomacy that Netanyahu would begin kinetic action on the eve of a potential breakthrough in US-Iran talks - which incidentally appears to include a Chinese dimension - in order to sabotage it. Israel has opposed every US-Iran deal, including Trump’s MOU from this past summer.

Thanks to efforts by the United States, the UN Security Council has been unable to renew the mandate of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), so UN peacekeeping forces are withdrawing with Moroccan occupation forces still in control of that oppressed nation.
The Trump administration has made it clear: the people of Western Sahara do not get to have a free and fair referendum on independence despite the requirement under international law that non-self-governing territories must be allowed the right to self-determination. This is yet another effort by the United States to replace the post-WWII international legal order with the the anachronistic principle of the right of conquest,

Those US sanctions/asset freezes violate Iran’s sovereignty. Stop acting like Iran is the bad actor here with “leverage” to force the US to back off legitimate policies. Its the US that has been waging a lawless 47 year war on Iran using illegal secondary sanctions & other tools
Iran says it would reopen the Strait of Hormuz if Trump agrees to lift sanctions and releases billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets. Iran wouldn't have this leverage but for Trump's counterproductive war of choice. trib.al/SV5whm2

We know that a new America is not going to be born as a result of one election.

America's hostility toward Iran, goes back more than 70 years, to the August 1953 coup.

We have seen these developments many times. We have seen governments come prefer to focus on ourselves and strengthening our capabilities in every field.

My new out of office message for everyone who keeps asking me to volunteer to do things in the midst of this insanity. Please stop.
Whether these allegations reflect serious military planning or reckless posturing, the very possibility of a U.S. nuclear attack on Iran is an unconscionable horror. After eight months of devastating war, Iranian Americans are once again being forced to wait in terror as the Trump administration reportedly weighs another catastrophic escalation at the urging of Benjamin Netanyahu.

NIAC demands that President Trump immediately and unequivocally rule out any use of nuclear weapons against Iran. Congress must urgently intervene to prevent further escalation and bring an end to this devastating war before an already horrific conflict becomes an irreversible catastrophe.

The only thing "unworkable" about a referendum is that the Moroccan regime has prevented it from happening.
Why don't you just admit that you don't believe in democracy or the right of self-determination?

Israeli attacks have damaged over 22 percent of Lebanon's agricultural land
——
According to an interview given to Anadolu Agency by Lebanese Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, Israeli attacks have directly affected approximately 56,000 hectares of farmland, representing 22.5 tal agricultural land.

The minister revealed that 52,000 hectares of the damaged land lie across the south, while an additional 4,000 hectares were devastated in the eastern Baalbek-Hermel governorate. Beyond crop destruction, Hani reported catastrophic impacts on livestock, noting that the country lost over 30,000 beehives and roughly 70 percent of its livestock across southern Lebanon due to persistent shelling and bombings.

Hani condemned Tel Aviv's deliberate use of banned chemical agents, confirming that "Israel used white phosphorus during the war and sprayed areas near the border, particularly forested land, with glyphosate herbicide."

The minister explained that while winter rainfall initially reduced chemical concentration levels in soil and water, renewed Israeli bombardments and ongoing ground occupation have blocked specialized Ministry teams from accessing border zone farmlands to conduct necessary environmental hazard assessments and soil testing.

The destruction of 24,000 hectares of olive groves and the bulldozing of farmland have further crippled southern production, which historically accounts for 70 percent of Lebanon's citrus output and 90 percent of its banana crops.

Despite severe supply chain shocks, Hani stressed that agricultural production continues to account for 9 percent of Lebanon's GDP—rising to 13 percent with food processing industries included—aided by strong trade ties with regional partners.

MINURSO may be ending but the right to self-determination of the Sahrawis remains. It wouldve been better if MINURSO’s mandate was renewed but that would have required sacrificing the Sahrawi right to self-determination per the proposed US resolution. And that is unacceptable
This 1 November 2026 marks the start of the liquidation of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western #Sahara (#MINURSO)

A team will oversee the transportation of assets belonging to troop-contributing countries to their respective nations, and the appropriate disposal of the UN. un.org/sg/en/content/…

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran's FM @araghchi on the Iran-US talks:

The discussions have become very pressured.

We have given put forward our conditions, our proposal. It is now in the US' hands, and how much political wisdom they have.

Are they ready to take the path of diplomacy, or will they again go the military route. We are ready for both. We are more ready this time, for both.

If they try to test us again, the result will be worse than last time.

We have our conditions for the reopening of Hormuz. If they accept them, the strait will open and negotiations will resume. If not, then the situation stays as is.

👇 Remarkable article in Farhikhtegan (
@farhikhteonline), one of Iran's leading conservative newspapers, laying out a detailed case for why Iran's nuclear doctrine is already shifting, and why it may need to move further toward acquiring nuclear weapons.

It appears Iranian bright green light to openly advocate a fundamental shift in nuclear doctrine. The article argues that nuclear weaponization is not a binary choice between having and not having the bomb, but a spectrum: nuclear ambiguity → reduced international monitoring → concealment of facilities and enriched uranium → weapon production → nuclear testing → development of a larger, more sophisticated arsenal.

Crucially, it argues Iran has already moved along this spectrum following US-Israeli attacks, with growing ambiguity over its nuclear activities and uranium stockpiles.

It then lays out a sweeping case for going further: repeated US-Israeli attacks have undermined the threat of military force as a means of preventing Iran from pursuing nuclear weapons; nuclear weapons could offset US-Israeli conventional superiority, deprive them of escalation dominance, and deter existential threats.

It also emphasizes that there growing support for weaponization within parliament, strategic circles, and Iranian society, while questioning assumptions that China and Russia would abandon Tehran over such a decision.

The increasingly open normalization of nuclear weaponization in influential Iranian media is itself a significant development.
