I get this from the left all the time whenever I talk about homeschooling or other parents rights issues. They start from the position that basically like everybody’s being abused by their parents, and you need to be really careful with what you allow parents to do. It’s deranged!
Without commenting on the underlying issue (where I have different views than Tim), Tim is right thst there's a longstanding suspicion that many or even most parents are abusive, on the Left. And it hurts Democrats electorally.

We really don’t talk enough about how lazy modern women are
The laziness of the modern woman knows no bounds.
My Grandma used to host Glögg parties and make full gourmet meals for her church friends every single month.
She'd cook every day for my grandfather and the kids. Every day. It was a staple.
When she'd prepare Swedish meatballs, she had my grandpa roll them all because he was good a it, and she'd cook or freeze 100 upon 100s of them.
She has to give ME all her recipes, cook books, and secrets because I'm the only one in the family that knows how to cook now besides my mom. My sister? Pff.
Not a single other woman knows. All my cousins are women, and on the other side of the family, they'd each bring a dish to Christmas dinner. All of it was barely edible. All the strain of cooking was my aunt.
Feminism is so destructive that your average woman not only doesn't know how to cook(nor cares to learn either), but they are too lazy too.
Give me the sturdy stock woman that knows how to cook and bake.
Imagine having a wife that can't cook, doesn't try to learn, and is too lazy. I bet the husband does all the cooking too.
