CNN uses a sensational headline suggesting a “major conflict of interest,” while its own reporting acknowledges the key fact: “CNN found no indication that Kushner’s actions as a diplomat directly affected the investments reviewed.”
Jared has been very transparent about the Phoenix investment. The thesis was straightforward: a strong company, a resilient Israeli economy, and the belief that greater economic integration between Israel and Arab countries can create shared interests that support peace.
Jared is doing difficult, unpaid work trying to help bring peace to the region. Insinuating wrongdoing that your own reporting does not establish only creates more division.
