🔴In 2023, the ’s pro-European path and began building an authoritarian dictatorship.
🔴In 2024, it massively rigged the parliamentary elections. As a result, the Georgian people launched continuous, large-scale protests that have now gone on for 370 days without interruption.
🔴The regime has unjustly detained hundreds of protesters - students, writers, actors, doctors... including the critical journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli, the 2025 Sakharov Prize winner. It has pushed through authoritarian laws and imposed crushing fines.
🔴 Today, Georgian Dream’s power relies on money, police forces and Russian-style propaganda.
🔴Two days ago, a BBC investigation revealed that at the start of the 2024 protests, the regime mixed Bromobenzyl cyanide(Camite) - a toxic chemical agent used during World War I and banned today - into water cannons to disperse protesters. This amounts to a crime against humanity. Thousands of demonstrators are still suffering from its severe effects.
