🙏 A Prayer for California
Heavenly Father,
As we approach this election, I lift up California to you. Our beautiful state has been blessed with so much, yet we face so many trying to destroy it. After decades of one-party leadership, I pray for a renewed sense of balance, accountability, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving the people.
Lord, I pray for positive massive wave of change. For leaders who put people before politics, who lead with wisdom rather than personal ambition, and who remember that public service is a responsibility, not a privilege.
I am especially thankful for those who have the courage to stand up, speak out, and work toward a better California. Those who sacrifice their time, resources, and energy because they believe our state and its people deserve better. May they find strength, encouragement, and purpose in their efforts.
I pray for the voters, to remember who has put our state in jeopardy, seek truth, look beyond the noise and division, and make thoughtful decisions for our families, our communities, and future generations.
Above all, Lord, I pray that we find our way back to the values that make a community strong: faith, family, freedom, opportunity, compassion, and respect for one another.
May this election bring renewed hope, positive change, and a brighter future for the Golden State we call home.
God bless California, and God bless everyone working to make it better.

Michael Young’s nonprofit received more than $118 million in public funds from LAHSA, the City and County of Los Angeles, and HUD, with LAHSA alone paying Home At Last more than $75 million for homeless housing services
