When I was in university, three of my friends and I became desperate for wealth. We were tired of struggling and started discussing going into rituals for quick money. Eventually, we found a location in Benin City and agreed on the date we would travel.
Then, one Sunday morning, my three friends went to church on campus, but I stayed back.
During the offering, one of my friends went forward to drop his offering. Suddenly, the student pastor called him aside and said, "That journey you and your friends are planning to embark on will end in disaster. Don't go!"
My friend was shocked. He hadn't told anyone in the church about our plans.
When he returned to the hostel and told us what happened, fear gripped all of us. We cancelled the trip, and that was the end of our plans.
