The vile comments on this post offer a snapshot of what Jewish people face daily. I’m not Jewish, but I’ve had a torrent of abuse since calling out antisemitism in schools. It’s not acceptable and these people are gross.
It is a stain on us as a society that Jewish children are frightened to go to school in Britain in 2026.

I welcome Sir David Bell's review & thank those brave enough to share their experiences.

Warm words will not be enough, the recommendations must be properly enforced.

Death to Israel is fundamental to the regime in Tehran while it has power. They tried strangling Israel with terrorist proxies, especially Hamas & Hizballah, both now on their knees. They tried developing nuclear weapons, which have been shattered. The genocidal intent remains.

I welcomed the Government's acceptance of recommendations to tackle antisemitism in schools.

The response has been extraordinary.

Apparently, Jewish parents must denounce Zionism before their children deserve protection. The review is dismissed as an Israeli conspiracy. I've even been told to go back to Eastern Europe.

Not one of those arguments addresses whether Jewish children should be safe at school.

Instead, their safety is made conditional on their parents' politics, their relationship with Israel, or whether others consider them sufficiently British.

And that's the disturbing part.

A report identifies antisemitism affecting Jewish children, and some people's immediate reaction is to demonstrate precisely why such a report was needed.

You couldn't ask for a clearer illustration of the problem.
The Government has accepted all 27 recommendations of the review into antisemitism in our schools.

Good. It's long overdue.

But Jewish children don't need another set of promises. They need protection.

And when some of the problems involve the adults entrusted with educating them, who holds those adults accountable?

Implementation, not announcements, will be the real test.

I am not Jewish. But I am a proud Israeli citizen. I live in Tel Aviv. Despite the world having extremely opinionated views about the country I live in, few people I have come across on X (that don’t live here) know little of substance about Israel apart from their warped sense of history and reality. This is the first post of a series I will write entitled Everything You Think You Know About Israel is (Probably) Wrong. The points are not in any particular order. Spread the word.
Most Israelis (just over 50%) are not white. The devastating impact on European Jews of the Holocaust meant that the newly formed Israel in 1948 was largely populated by Jews fleeing persecution in Muslim-ruled countries predominantly in the Middle East and North Africa. These are known as Mizrahi Jews and when the State of Israel was formed they made up 80% of the Jewish population living here.
Jews have had a continuous presence in the land of Israel since around 1208 BCE, that’s 3,200 years — long before the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. The Muslim faith, in contrast, dates back 1,400 years (610 CE). Yes, when they lost majority rule in the 7th-century Muslim conquest they were not in the majority for centuries, but still lived in their ancestral homeland.
Arab terrorism against Jews existed before 1948. In 1929, for example, 67 Jews were killed in the Hebron massacre, attacked and slaughtered by the Arabs they lived and worked beside. My wife’s great-grandfather Ben-Zion Gershon (who was a local doctor that often treated the Arab community without accepting payment) was tortured, had both his eyes gouged out and was then murdered. This was after his daughter Esther was raped in front of him, and his wife Zahava had both arms chopped off and was left to die. This was just one of many similar massacres inflicted on Jews that day.
I will continue this series over the coming days.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

Hola, soy palestino. 🇵🇸

1947. La ONU me ofreció un estado. Junto a Israel. Fronteras, independencia, reconocimiento.

Me dio autonomía.

¿Democracia? No he tenido elecciones en casi 20 años.

🚨 EXPOSED: THE GLOBAL ANTI-ISRAEL PROTEST MACHINE

A Fox News investigation reveals a London-based coalition coordinating anti-Israel protests worldwide.

The investigation identified 179 organizations and 322 planned events, supported by coordinated messaging, protest materials, media strategies, and tactics to disrupt cities, surround government buildings, and blockade businesses.

The network includes CodePink and prominent political figures, with financial links to organizations under congressional scrutiny over alleged Chinese Communist Party influence.

These demonstrations are not simply spontaneous grassroots protests. Behind them is a sophisticated international political campaign designed to pressure and isolate Israel.

Today, I watched and read countless reports and articles about October 7, and to all of them, I want to say this: It wasn't the “October 7 attack.” It wasn't the “October 7 operation.” It wasn't the “October 7 war.” As some media in the West and Muslim media describe it today. NOOOO. It was the October 7 massacre carried out by Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood terrorists against Israeli children and women.

The victims were mainly Jews, and Jews were deliberately targeted. But Muslim Israelis, Christians, and people from countries around the world were also murdered.

Children. Women. Families. Human beings.

Call October 7 what it was. Do not sanitize it. Do not soften it. Do not romanticize it.

It was a massacre.

A one-minute truth bomb this morning from Gen. Jack Keane, just back from Israel: the 20-point Gaza plan has no chance of working.

Hamas is regenerating. Five to seven thousand new recruits, already through training. Still fighting from a tunnel network Keane walked himself — lumbing, electricity, about 400 miles of it. Israel has killed a lot of commanders and is systematically blowing those tunnels. It has not eliminated the terror organization.

An Israeli brigade commander who has been in Gaza since October 7, and who has lost three company commanders in the fight, told Keane that Hamas "has not changed one bit. Their identity is destruction of the state of Israel. That is what they're about. They are not going to disarm, despite all the initiatives to help them do that. They're going to stay in the fight."

This may not be the news most people were hoping to hear the day after the 3rd anniversary of the October 7 attack. But if we are not clear-eyed about Hamas and what they still want — the eradication of Jews and Israel — we are locking in a false pause before the next inevitable round of fighting.

Putting terrorists and aggressors on the same moral plane as their victims and targets is repugnant. At best it whitewashes horrible crimes, at worst it feeds the culture of murder and martyrdom that Hamas espouses.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.

The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.

Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.

To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Oh look, the BBC is back to its usual job as the Hamas Broadcasting Corporation.

This article is on the BBC website front page and the BBC journalist is happily taking everything a Gazan family claims as gospel truth despite it coming from a Hamas source.

The journalist appears to think the IDF continues attacks on Gaza just for fun, and only mentions in passing near the very end that Hamas has not given up their weapons - as they agreed to do as the second phase of the ceasefire deal. Is it really so bizarre that Israel would continue targeting Hamas fighters who still pose a threat to the Israeli people?

This BBC article isn't journalism, it's Hamas propaganda.

October 7 2023 is the most documented and intensely filmed crime of mass murder and atrocious sadism in all of human history. Those who celebrated it on that day, October 8 2023 and the following weeks shocked us all.
Today should only be a sorrowful day. Those who march today of all days in London or elsewhere are not only rejecting and mocking the most elementary decency but celebrating the killing, torture and rape of ordinary people. It is hard to think of anything more degenerate and depraved.
The decision to allow this march today is unconscionable, cowardly and despicable @metpoliceuk @ShabanaMahmood, an abuse and degradation of our values of free speech and assembly, particularly after countless demonstrations that have already taken place. I am afraid it reveals a saddening and alarming void at the moral centre of this government and police that should worry us all.
