The National Dialogue on CBR/CBID/CBDID is happening now at Hotel Africana!
Organized by @KCHuganda & @Mglsd_UG with support from #LilianeFonds
The discussion: a sustainable, inclusive framework spanning health, rehabilitation, education, livelihoods & social protection for PWDs

Today, all @KCHuganda staff, volunteers, and interns underwent a Safeguarding & Child Protection training facilitated by our Safeguarding Focal Person, Joan Najuka.
We focused on the definitions, scope, and core principles of #safeguarding vs. #childprotection.

8 youth with disabilities (4M, 4F) received their resettlement packages under the #ECBID project funded by @cbmWorldwide after completion of vocation trainings in hair dressing, hair cutting, tailoring and motorcycle repair to help launch their businesses in #Kamuli District.

@KCHuganda and @UNAPD brought together 18 #BENMAPP implementing partners to reflect on lessons learned and co-create the 2027 Annual Plan!
The meeting also marked the official launch of the Steering Committee.
