BYU - Texas Tech Top 10 showdown deserved the best!
We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Gonna be hard to top this next year 😅
Thanks @jasonmcgowan for your help in making it happen.

“Growing up, it was always God, family, and baseball. There were a lot of late nights practicing, a lot of traveling, and sometimes it was hard to get to church. But my parents helped me build a foundation on a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“I always had a testimony, ook of Mormon all the way through. I believed what my parents told me. They’re really smart, and their testimonies are strong. Then I got drafted, and I thought, ‘All right, I probably need to read this for myself.’
“One of the guys I was drafted with shared my faith. We became roommates and studied the scriptures together. As I read, I received personal revelation. That’s when my testimony really became stronger. I could see Heavenly Father’s hand in putting someone like that in my life.
“Reading helped me strengthen my testimony, and living what I believed gave me more opportunities to recognize His hand.
“My mom had talked to me about tithing before I even had a job. She told me about the blessings she’d seen and encouraged me to pay it. So I did. As I’ve kept that commitment, I’ve learned that the blessings can be physical, too. For me, being able to play baseball at my best is a blessing I connect directly to paying my tithing.
“Playing at an elite level still has its ups and downs. After a good year, I had a rough year. Sometimes you’re asking Heavenly Father, ‘Please help me,’ and you forget how much He’s already helped. Looking back helped me recognize the opportunities and blessings He had already given me.
“That same commitment to living my faith carries into how I take care of myself. Living the Word of Wisdom is a choice I made early. I’ve never wanted to drink or smoke. In high school, I watched people try vaping, get addicted, and struggle to stop. I didn’t want to find myself in that situation, and I’m grateful I made that decision before I ever started playing professionally.
“So when we were celebrating with the team and there wasn’t any sparkling cider, I opened the fridge, saw some Fanta in glass bottles, and grabbed a couple. I didn’t even want to hold alcohol because I didn’t want to give the impression I was drinking it. Then everybody started sending me pictures of their Fanta.
“Reading the Book of Mormon, paying my tithing, and living the Word of Wisdom are commitments I carry with me. As I’ve lived them, the foundation my parents helped me build in the gospel of Jesus Christ has become stronger through my own experiences.

Great angle of the final play between BYU and UCF. Bear put it right on the money. Tough break for Lyons.

The Big 12 with 3 undefeated teams entering today…
We go from a 3-bid league to a 1-big league just like that. Ugh.

I think Utah wins. Wild that so many pundits are picking Houston. Yes, Utah hasn't played tough competition, but the Utes always rise on the big stage and RES at night is one of the toughest places to play.
"I'm gonna pick Houston in this game... I think they're seasoned. I think they're gonna pull this out in the end." 👀
@CoachBrianKelly and @JonesN4mo are taking No. 14 @UHCougarFB to pull the upset at No. 10 Utah

It’s been cool to see everybody talkin about Brigham this whole week in the media. Super dope Kalani and the boys got a lil respect. Fun to watch the state of Utah get some love and respect for their fandom! 💯
"That was the most excitement and passion that I've seen since I've been on College GameDay..
That BYU team plays with so much confidence and it starts with Coach Sitake" ~ Coach Saban

3rd most watched College GameDay show IN HISTORY. People are tired of the same SEC locations every year.
Hopefully it’s a wake up call for ESPN.

For the first time in AP Poll history (since 1936), multiple teams from the state of Utah are ranked in the top 10 at the same time!
BYU and Utah also both rank among the top 10 most likely to reach the CFP, according to the Allstate Playoff Predictor.

This is why the BCS was a joke.
BYU has the best resume in #CFB at the moment, and yet they wouldn’t get to play for the title. Ohio State losing to a 2-loss average Texas team is ranked higher.
BCS & Playoff Committee favor quality losses over quality wins. Pathetic.

New week, new top tier of this week's simulated BCS. Miami, Ohio State and BYU break away while last week’s top two slide to Nos. 4 and 5 after a chaotic week:

You can see/hear the pain in Klatt’s face/voice. 😂
That’s why he only talks about BYU for 5 seconds in the entire segment.

Disgrace that Oklahoma State dropped out after being ranked No. 18 and lost by 3 on the road to then-No.20 Houston.
Arizona only #25. Their first only loss is to No. 2 BYU. Big 12 still being shafted.

Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25.
Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-…

Steve Young was the first one to rush the field. Absolute legend!
Also, if you time this play, it's 4+ seconds. Game Over.

BYU legend Steve Young (white hat) was perhaps the first fan to storm the field after CJ Carr’s pass to Jaden Great house landed incomplete.
Of course, now we know the officials should’ve put one second back on the clock.

I've been saying this for weeks. Dream scenario for the Big 12.
BYU beats Notre Dame
Utah beats BYU
BYU wins out after
Utah wins out
Texas Tech wins out
12-0 Utah vs 12-0 Tech in Big 12 Championship
Big 12 Champ, 12-1 loser and 11-1 BYU all in the CFP. #TheVision
