I'm bored to death of reading stuff like this from famous indie hackers.
Every few weeks, someone with a big following decides they're suddenly expert on a topic they Googled last week. Out comes a confident thread with a polished breakdown, bold claims, and zero nuance as if they've spent years in the field.
In reality, they know a couple of surface-level facts. That's it. Scratch one layer deeper and there's nothing there.
And the worst part isn't them. It's the thousands of followers nodding along, bookmarking it, quoting it, repeating it as gospel. Nobody questions it because "he built a $20k MRR app, so he must know"
Shipping a successful product doesn't make you an authority on everything. Audience size ≠ expertise.
Not every post is garbage and not every big account does this. But it happens way too often and people are making real decisions based on half-baked takes.
