Exclusive: Earlier this month, the Supreme Court blocked an executive order restricting voting by mail in ways that could have thrown the upcoming midterms into chaos. But the White House originally had far more disruptive plans, ProPublica has learned. 🧵

Today, I accepted the resignation of Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who led the Civil Rights Division with conviction the past 18 months. She has defended the civil liberties of every American and enforced the law without fear or favor. The Department is grateful for her dedicated public service, and we wish her every success in her future endeavors.

Did republicans just lose too badly this time to claim fraud? Will it stop them in the future? I asked some smart people. votebeat.org/national/2026/…

At the Maricopa County supervisors meeting just now, Republican Supervisor @ThomasGalvin said his party's election lies have "led to the destruction of the Republican party here in Arizona, and frankly around the country."

AZGOP needs to move on from Cyber Ninjas era. Stop fielding freaks, geeks & amoral grifters for statewide races. Stop lying about “election fraud.” Focus on real issues. RNC must go from the party for malicious corruption to the party for the middle class m.youtube.com/watch?v=hsJ9Dl…

Remember: AK has ranked choice voting, so if a candidate doesn't get 50%+ of the vote, all the voters who ranked the last-place finisher as their first choice will have those votes tossed, and their second choice votes will count instead. (And so on until a candidate gets 50%+.)
Look at the latest numbers in Alaska:
Peltola - 102,701 votes
Senator Sullivan - 102,075
"Decoy Dan" J Sullivan - 3,583
Gerald Heikes - 4,821
394/403 precincts reporting.

I’m not joking when I say I’m more stunned about this than Talarico. Potential Democratic majorities in both chambers of the statehouse, sending bills to Gov. Gina Hinojosa
We're continuing to count the bodies at Texas Monthly: Democrats seem almost certain to take control of the Texas House, while Texas Senate control is in the air. Every statewide office and judicial race appears to have gone D. texasmonthly.com/news-politics/…

In NY county experiencing ballot scanning issues, both candidates in tight CD-17 race are reassuring voters that every ballot will be counted.
To every voter in Westchester County: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR POLLING PLACE UNTIL YOU VOTE.
Every ballot will be counted and we are already in court to make sure they are counted in **one central location** so that our campaign, election monitors, and our attorneys can watch and oversee the process.
I have confidence that every vote will be counted — just VOTE and have your voice heard. 🗳️ 🇺🇸
