Back when my sisters and I used to play legos together, we always ended up creating a free market system because it was the most efficient
There was a certain piece of we agreed to use as "money" to buy pieces and objects
Although any of us could call upon Mom for a forceful redistribution of lego pieces, none of us dared to do so because we wouldn't get the exact pieces we wanted to build stuff with
I valued black pieces over pink ones, and vice-versa for my sisters. Uncommon pieces were more expensive due to the limited supply
It prevented a LOT of conflicts because everyone knew they were entitled to nothing (the age range of all participants was 7-14 years old)

There’s literally a children’s board game whose whole premise is showing how free market capitalism ends with one person owning everything while everyone else goes bankrupt.

Re-watched LOTR and realized that Eomer tells the best short people jokes in the entirety of Middle Earth

Thanksgiving, 2018
My dad decided to use a hand blender to make mashed potatoes
Something happened to the starch and the potatoes became a thick liquid that solidified when stirred/agitated and flowed when left to rest
It became a non-newtonian fluid, similar to the slime you might remember playing with as a kid
My family ended up saturating it with gravy and it was edible. Eating a bite of those potatoes on their own was hopeless.
At the time we actually did have a potato masher but my dad blended them in the name of efficiency.

"What was your biggest impact on the internet?"
a stupid Linux/MacOS joke. It got highlighted on one of @ThePrimeagen's streams

As stupid as this sounds coming from a syrupean, door-to-door confiscation carried out by militarized law enforcement can be effective for individuals or small families that don't expect it
Keep a secondary hidden loadout
Communicate with your buddies what's going on
Get together, set a trap, and light 'em up

THE PLAN FOR THE DOOR TO DOOR MISSION IS HERE.
When our brigade is up and running, this is what the gun confiscation will look like.

I established that the naming convention for my kids would be that the first and middle names rhyme
My wife said she liked the girl name "alethia" so I recommended "alethia bedelia"
we're having a boy though, so I need name recommendations

the actual valid PEM using curve P-384 would look like something like below, but not fun

Today is National replace-your-optic-batteries day
By taking 30 seconds to unscrew the cap and replace the cheap+tiny cylindrical power source that costs virtually nothing, you have the ability to cause hordes of anti-red dot fudds to seethe and foam at the mouth

There isn't a single certificate coming out of India that isn't fraudulent.
Bachelor's? Fraud.
Masters? Fraud.
Doctorate? Fraud.
Technical? Fraud.
SSL? Fraud.
Birth? Fraud.

More private keys by the Indian certificate authority have been discovered. These are all small numbers.
People are suspecting that they interpreted 384 bit keys to mean that they should pick numbers from 1-384 to use as their private keys.

A sad day for indian web sovereignty is a good day for the web
E-Mudhra is dead. They will never come back as a globally trusted SSL/TLS provider.
A very sad day for Indian web sovereignty.
Indian govt websites will be forced to migrate to foreign certificate providers.
A decade of baby steps - dead.
