🔴 CIA’s Buried 1983 Orion Contact

A declassified agency reading room file quietly archived an Arizona university paper claiming two “star people” from the Orion belt arrived that year to deliver a peace ultimatum, their identities logged under the names Michael and Aurora ted hidden non-human intelligences had already built a joint U.S.-Soviet outpost on Mars in the early sixties and that the real reason nuclear weapons never annihilated the planet was an unseen intervention rather than human restraint.

Why would a routine open source clipping remain flagged for decades if the claims were merely New Age chatter?

The couple reportedly described three staged steps, neutralizing arsenals, correcting a planetary axis shift, then quarantining any arriving craft, to stop governments from locking visitors down, while warning that residual human populations might be relocated once the imbalance they called “Lucifer’s war” is resolved.

The file ends without followup, leaving the precise location of those early landings and the current status of the visitors unstated.

Imagine being able to trade your favorite US stocks at 3 am on a Sunday. Data shows that most tokenized equity volume on Solana and BNB Chain happens when traditional Wall Street exchanges are closed. Investors want round the clock markets and they are voting with capital.

There’s something oddly fitting about using optics to fight systems built around optics
The idea is surprisingly simple: instead of hiding your face, distort it just enough that a facial-recognition system struggles to understand what it is seeing.

Dutch designer Jip van Leeuwenstein created the transparent mask as part of a project called “Surveillance Exclusion” trecht School of the Arts. The design uses a clear, curved and ribbed surface that bends light passing through it.

Facial-recognition systems typically detect landmarks such as the eyes, nose, mouth and jaw, then convert their spatial relationships into a mathematical representation that can be compared with stored faces.

The mask changes how those landmarks appear to a camera. Humans can still see much of the wearer’s face and expressions, but the altered geometry can make automated detection and identification more difficult.

It is essentially a physical example of adversarial design: changing what a machine sees without completely hiding the underlying object from human perception.

However, it isn’t a guaranteed invisibility cloak. Modern recognition systems can be retrained, combine multiple camera angles, and increasingly use other biometric clues such as body shape, gait and movement. The effectiveness would therefore depend heavily on the particular surveillance system.

The project was actually created years ago and has recently resurfaced online. Its underlying question has only become more relevant: as cameras become better at identifying people automatically, privacy may increasingly depend on understanding the difference between how humans see us and how machines see us.
