@DigitalEU 100% of people face hostile words from conversations.

Maybe you guys should make a law that forces people to sew their mouths shut when born?

@DigitalEU This is the result of your nice "Digital Act" ideas: dw.com/en/denmark-dat… First learn what cybersecurity is, and then go ahead and talk big.

@DigitalEU we dont trust your so called polls, and so called research,an avarage graphic designer can create a cgart like this in a simple softwere, that doesnt validate your claims and is no evidence.

Yet, a legislation that will come out of it is going to be for real.Censorship incoming

@DigitalEU That seems like very little to me; if you interact on social media, the whole planet reads what you say—there's no harm in a bit of hostility.

@DigitalEU So is the EU publicly saying that its citizens are just extremely stupid and don't know how to use the Internet? I'm not sure if that's the case...I would start by ensuring that the staff of Critical EU Networks receive training, rather than locking us all up in a digital prison.

@DigitalEU It is essential not to collapse "individual instances", like utterances, posts, or walking down the street, and "sustained patterns of behavior", like discrimination, harassment, or stalking.

These policies often do exactly that, which is why people are justifiably suspicious.

@DigitalEU Znači umjesto progona počinitelja rezulat je cenzura? Pod hitno uvesti tečajeve pravničke pismenosti i početi otpuštati birokraciju. U Digital EU ih već sasvim sigurno ima zbog SI. U agencijama za tržišno natjecanje sasvim sigurno. U uredu umbudsmana također. Znam poimence.

@DigitalEU This figure is a real signal about the online environment, and linking digital safety to mental health on World Mental Health Day is a fair communications choice.

@DigitalEUore we require, as a matter of urgency, the chat control. Everyone is to be watched. Without cause. As with the Stasi. Only larger, and more modern.

One does not call it surveillance. One calls it digitalisation. It is the only kind of digitalisation known in Brussels. A hostile message has been seen by 42.3 per cent of users. The remedy is not a block, nor a law against the crime. It is a scanner upon the private letter of the innocent.

It will cost a great sum. It will return nothing to the economy, and nothing to the citizen, except the knowledge that his correspondence has been read in the name of his well-being. Safety, so understood, is a fine word. It is not a substitute for liberty.
