Asked my hermes agent @NousResearch for a game.

It made sprites, sound, music, 3D, and a playable Godot build. Then it played the build and caught a crash.

9 tools, 10 skills, offline by default, zero core changes.

Overnight, the same build grew: 4 playable genres, rigged + animated 3D, and a playtester that plays until it breaks.

92 seconds of real footage, no mockups.

@TencentAI_News Ah yes, 'cutting memory volume 51.8%'" right before it forgets everything it learned three prompts ago. Groundbreaking engineering, truly. 🙌

Gemini web interface is the only place where you can watch an AI generate 15 full pages of absolutely nothing and still get told “try your request again” like it’s your fault.

No answer. No partial output. Just a black screen, a dead harness, and the most expensive shrug in model then bolted on a web layer that dies at the finish line. Embarrassing.

Nobody asked, but I redesigned @NousResearch's Hermes Agent desktop app anyway 🫡 @Teknium1 my therapist says this counts as a hobby.

@Googleis supposed to be the easy everyday AI.

Instead the web version constantly glitches: buttons vanish, messages disappear, old chats are a mess to find, Canvas copy-paste breaks, and it has almost no connectors for the apps people actually use.

ChatGPT UX just feels smoother for normal daily use.

There needs to be a major UX improvement for Gemini Web Harness.

@asha_sharis the cleanest version of “we’re paying attention” I’ve seen in a while.

Games getting decompiled, ported, and remixed in real time is already happening. The interesting part is treating that as a design signal instead of just a problem.

Build in the open. Measure it by more peog. Keep the 4Cs intact.

@AnthropicAIst built their own version of Git because AI agents were merging 30,000+ code changes a day and the old system couldn’t keep up.

In May they were doing 2,500 merges/day. By September it was 30k+. So they spent five months building Scion, a source control system designed for instead of humans working offline.

Result: 100× faster checkouts, 200× less infrastructure, and 25% less CPU spent on CI.

Coding isn’t the bottleneck anymore. The tools built for human-scale development are.

Norwegian soldiers found Chinese-linked Hertz rental cars (via Volvo/Geely) and Deepal models had stored video of their movements and military gate codes during a September exercise. They kept using the cars anyway.

Canada is now importing Chinese-origin EVs under a low-tariff quota. What specific cybersecurity and data inspection framework applies to these vehicles?

BREAKING: Further espionage insanity from China

China owns the cars Norway’s soldiers rented for a military exercise. The cars proceeded to recorded the gate codes.

The Home Guard used Hertz vehicles during a September drill in Oslo. Hertz’s ownership runs through Volvo to Zhejiang Geely. Soldiers found stored video of who got in, where they drove, and the codes they typed to open military gates. They kept using the cars. No replacements.

Volvo still says Chinese ownership is not a risk.

This is where reliance on Chinese tech leads you.

been building bot mode for @NousResearch hermes agent. you can now ask your main bot to hire a team, put them in a room where only the lead listens, and have it build plugins for itself live

Would love feedback on what's missing or annoying and More features to Clank @Teknium

Making desktop plugins something you can just ask for. Hermes writes the file, it loads live, and you can tweak it by talking to it. Hoping this opens up customizing the app to people who don't write code. Feedback welcome 🙏
