@adamcarolla tells me that people approach him on Hollywood sets to say exactly this. They agree with him privately. They’re afraid of anyone finding out.
Behind the public speeches and moral lectures, he describes three different the true believers. There are the “preening liars” who perform the approved politics to advance their careers. And there are the quiet dissenters who keep their opinions hidden.
Carolla specifically mentions camera guys coming up to him on set. People working inside the industry who feel they cannot openly say what they think.
His explanation is blunt: going liberal in Hollywood can be a “business decision”.
When you’re replaceable, well paid, and dependent on people who expect you to share their worldview, public agreement becomes part of keeping your job. Loudly advertising that agreement might even get you promoted.
He’s particularly brutal about sitcom and late-night writers’ rooms. Walk in wearing a MAGA hat, he says, and “you’re not making it back into that room”.
That’s what makes his account so revealing. The same career pressure can encourage one person to loudly profess a belief and another to conceal theirs.

How is an old government declared illegitimate and a new government declared the true successor?
Months before the actual transition, the following are • Civil society and activists get prepared for big uprisings.
• Media narratives are pre-seeded.
• Foreign officials provide cover.
The last point is what this drop is all about. You saw it last night - as soon as Lula "won" the election, EU officials and Alex Soros immediately swept in with their congratulations. That is a deliberate strategy to grant Lula legitimacy, not an organic congratulations.
The idea is to saturate the people with the idea that "this is the legitimate government, and you will accept it."
In these files, we see the various NGOs strategize on how to reach out to governments in advance and prepare them for what is coming. We also revisit how USAID OTI, the regime change arm of USAID, allegedly re-organized themselves inside the country.
We record one meeting taking place between Horizons Project and Catalonia officials. That we were able to document a meeting at all is unusual, because I'm told that these meetings are generally arranged at the highest levels and kept off the record (think Jake Sullivan, Norm Eisen level).

Rep. Byron Donalds is calling out Democrats and the media over what he sees as a double standard toward Black conservatives.
Donalds says that if he and Michigan gubernatorial candidate John James were running as Democrats, their campaigns would be receiving widespread national to become the first Black governors of their states.
Instead, he argues, their conservative views are overshadowing the historic significance of their campaigns.
Donalds also says Democrats take Black voters for granted, urging voters to look beyond party loyalty when deciding which policies will improve their lives.
